NORTEX Heating and Air Conditioning

They were the best. They had to deal with my insurance company. They turned me down twice and they were the only ones able to get through to them. They’re price is average. I wouldn’t say that it’s high, but I wouldn’t say that it’s average. But they knew what they were doing with the insurance company, so I think a lot of times that makes a difference. Two people came out to do the job and then the he came out to verify the job (the owner himself). They kept the area nice and clean when they left.

Excellent. He did have to come back a couple days later because all of a sudden the a/c unit quit cooling. He came within an hour if my call and found the problem (a tiny pin ***** hole in a weld), it was fixed and freon replaced with no cost.

AC unit was installed less than 2 years ago. Before that we had a unit for almost 15 years with no problems. A few months later, we could tell the AC was not cooling to what we set the thermostat to. We called them out there and paid $75 for them to say everything was fine and they saw nothing wrong. Called them again to let them know the issue persisted but they said all they could offer was a new thermostat for over $100. Today, we get a new company out there and they tell us there is a small leak and system has lost almost all of the refrigerant and it will be a $2000 repair. Nortex never mentioned any problems with the lines, didn't recommend they be updated, nor did they tell us they weren't updated/repaired when the new unit was installed. Basically refrigerant has been leaking small amounts for a while and they failed to catch it or they were too lazy to look for the leak. Will never recommend even for maintenance.

Great, I had no luck with my insurance company and they were able to get the job done and Insurance company taken care of... Highly recommend Now working on my rentals for the same..

Service and responsiveness provided by Nortex was outstanding.  I called late on Monday afternoon and Brian (the owner) answered the call immediately.  He said he still had several jobs remaining for the day, but could come to our house on Tuesday.  I said that was great.  Brian showed up the next day, and within five minutes had run diagnostics to determine it was a bad capacitor.  He replaced the capacitor and actually filed it under warranty, so it didn't cost me anything.
Brian also did maintenance on our units, and explained everything step by step, as well as certain things we weren't keeping up with.  He was extremely personable, professional and easy to talk to.  I never felt like he was trying to sell me anything additional, and his hourly rate was reasonable.
He will have our heating and air conditioning from this point going forward.
