Good ideas about welting around upholstered edges of chair.  Reasonable price, excellent job, and quick turnaround.  Very pleased with finished product!

Larry picked up the pieces to be recovered, returned them ahead of schedule, and did a great job. 2 days after getting the chair, we accidentally spilled something on the new covering, When our attempts to remove the stain failed, we called Larry for advice: not only did he recommend a stain remover, he brought it to our home and loaned it to us. It did the job. HHave already had the opportunity to recommend Larry to someone else. Great job and will use again!

Larry picked up and delivered the chair.  He did as I asked keeping with the original lines of the piece.  His pricing is very fair, his turn around time is quick, and he didn't tack on additional fees when he ran into some unforseen costs.  Will definitely use again.  Stand up guy that comes from a long line of upholsterer's.  Highly recommend!

I first contacted Larry about an estimate of what it would cost to recover my swivel glider and ottoman. He responded back to me the same day, and I sent him a picture of the chair and ottoman. He quickly replied back with the cost and how much fabric I would need to cover the chair. Once I purchased the fabric, he came and picked up the glider and ottoman (at no additional cost in the Dallas area). That itself was worth his services since I am 8 months pregnant and incapable of lifting the glider. It took him only 7 days, not business days, but days, and he delivered it back to me. This chair is beautiful. He did such and amazing job. It is more than I expected in the reupholster. I have had chairs reupholstered before, but never to this quality. His quick response, professionalism, and fair pricing is definitely going to get me to use him again and refer him to anyone who asks! I can't wait to have something else for him to recover!

Mr. Newby was recommended to me by a friend whose sister was very pleased with his upholstering of her wingback chairs. He was very professional and experienced, able to tell me over the telephone what yardage of fabric, types of fabrics to purchase that were best for upholstery. Mr. Newby was very patient with my questions, guiding me about what things to ask at the fabric store's toll free number regarding manufacturer's details about the materials I wished to order. He and an assistant picked up the furniture and returned it within 12 days. As an after thought on my part, I asked about throw pillows. He told me what types of pillow forms to purchase. He returned to pick up the leftover fabric he had given me, made the pillows and dropped them off. The charge for the throw pillows was very reasonable. I had previously checked on-line at a large Dallas material store website that listed their charge for reupholstering wingback chairs. Mr. Newby's price was lower. Our 25 year old furniture looks brand new. I paid by check upon delivery.
