Loved, loved, loved this company!!! They came out on time, painted and my walls and ceilings in 3 days and did a thorough walk through afterwards. Rick and crew did an excellent job of filling all nail holes and caulking all baseboards before painting. They put 2 coats of paint in the areas that needed them and even upgraded me to 0 VOC paint that had virtually no smell. That's again for the great job and I will highly recommend to all my firiends.

One note, if you plan to pay by cc there is a 3% additional fee.

How'd it go?  It went very, very well.  We just closed on a brand new build and all of the rooms in the house were the standard builder's beige.  Since I fancy myself a designer, I wanted to surprise my family by having their space designed and furnished before their arrival.  Instyle helped me by painting my mother's walls a bright sunny yellow, her ceiling a bright, deep rich pink.  Her bathroom was to receive a accent wall of the same bright sunny yellow.  It turned our GREAT!  The only thing I hate is that Michael could not give me the black pinstripe I wanted on the on the crown moulding.  We tried several methods and just could not make it happen.  The 2nd bedroom the accent wall came out just as i envisioned.  The ceiling was painted perfectly.

I plan to use them again to paint the Master Bedroom and our Great Room!

Someone from Instyle contacted me w/in 1 day of my initial inquiry.  The provided a quote for for painting the interior of my house, repair of holes, cracks (after foundation repair), exterior and cabinets.  I felt the quote was very fair.  This was the first time I have ever had a house painted however the price quoted was within the budgeted amount I had set aside.  I had 2 other proposals and this fell in the middle of the range.
Once we agreed on the project, they immediately wanted to start.  I was expecting the typical contractor feet dragging but was completely impressed by the urgency of InStyle wanting to start.  Since the interior of my house was not ready for painting, I had them start on the exterior.  We had 2 people show up first thing that following Monday morning to start the prep work.  Paul (Pavel) completed the job.  He was completely professional and did an outstanding job on the exterior.  Once the exterior was complete I immediately received a phone call to inspect the job and let them know if anything needed to be corrected.  This part of the project took about 3 full days of work but due to rain, they were not able to work so the job from start to finish took about 6 days.
The next week, the company had a large job and wasn't available so we agreed the following week to start the interior.  First thing Memorial day morning, the crew showed up to start on the interior.  The project manager Michael was awesome.  He and Isaac were professional and their quality of work is great.  I asked them to work on the downstairs of my house first and then the upstairs so I could keep my dogs somewhere w/o disturbing the wet paint with tail wagging.  They went way above and beyond helping with moving furniture and boxes during the project.  I was also having my cabinets painted so I had to remove everything from the cabinets and had boxes and stuff everywhere.  The interior job took 6 days.
In summation, I recommend InStyle to anyone.  I have already given their information to other neighbors who have asked about the work.  I will definitely use them again.

This review is long overdue and I Hope InStyle team forgives me for my tardiness. I found InStyle  team on Angies List and was thrilled by their reviews. Ray came to the house and gave me a Great military discount.  We discussed the work in phases and he even recommended some areas that did not require painting to reduce costs.  His vision for my home was amazing and he was professional and very passionate about his work. His crew was dependable and on time and experts at their craft.  Ray completed the staining of my fence, touch ups to my door and created the beautiful accent walls you see in the ceilings and back walls. He also was responsible for any crown molding you see.  The builder painted the entire home a sort of sand and Ray helped me to Create the Bold look I was going for.
I have posted the pictures of my home on Facebook and the reviews from my friends confirm that contracting Ray for this job was the smartest decision I could have made. I used sticker-brand decals to accent the walls and Bedroom and I believe they came out nicely on top of what Ray completed.
I 1000% recommend Ray and the awesome Staff at inStyle Painting ~ Ray please forgive this late post but Better Late than Never :)

Painter showed up on time, and began painting as agreed.   To be honest, I was a little worried because I purchased the "painter for a day" service, and the painter they sent over was an older gentleman (over 60 years old).  Therefore, I didn't think I was going to get my money's worth.  Before he started painting, he asked me what rooms I was hoping to get painted.  I told him I was hoping to get the living, kitchen, and dining rooms painted but if it wasn't possible it was ok.  Like I stated previously, I felt bad because he was a little older than I expected.  Anyhow, the painter started painting so I left the house.  I would come and check on him periodically during the day, and things seemed to be going very smoothly.  However, towards the end of the day I noticed the painter began rushing to get living room completed.  When he informed me he was finished, I didn't even check the quality of his work at the time (he seemed professional), gave him a tip and sent him on his way - I felt so bad because I knew the painter had to have been extremely tired painting 3 rooms in 8 hours, taking very little time for breaks.  After a few hours later, and the paint had dried I went into each room to observe the workmanship, and boy was I shocked.  The painter I tipped, had did a sloppy job!!! There was paint on door trimmings, baseboards, etc.  In some areas, the painter had even failed to paint straight lines.... I immediately called the company and informed them of the issue.  To make a long story short, the employee on the phone gave me so much attitude that I ended up getting into a shouting match.  Basically, he stated that he was not going to send the painter over to tidy up his sloppy job, because of the discount I received through angies list.  He then went on to basically say "so what if the job was sloppy, his painter painted 3 rooms in 1 day, therefore, I should be happy".  My take on was I didn't care that 3 rooms had been completed in 1 day, if the job was done sloppily.  I mean how in the heck should I be satisfied about 3 rooms getting painted, if I had to hire someone else to re-paint.  I would have rather the painter taken his time a painted 1 or 2 rooms really nicely, and left the other room to be painted for another day.  Correct me if I room, but does that make sense to only me or does anyone else agree with me.
Response from InStyle Painting & Remodeling
"[Member Name Removed], sorry for the misunderstanding on this project. At the beginning when you said you needed 3 rooms painted, we warned you that its too many rooms for one painter (One Painter for Day deal you purchased) and that you should expect about 1 to 2 rooms to be done. You asked us to work work as fast as we can and get all rooms done that day. Every time you checked in on the painter, you kept asking if he was going to able to paint all 3 rooms that day. The painter did everything in his power, not taking any breaks or lunch to finish these rooms for you. The painter even worked 10 hours instead of 8. Yes, the paint did not have a chance to dry when he left so he could not walk the rooms with you. When you called back, Ray explained that painted finished his work that day and if you want him to come back another day you would need to purchase another Angies List deal as he already worked for the full day (plus some). If you would have told us at the beginning that you only want one room done, none of this would be an issue . However, from the very beginning we were told to finish all 3 rooms and work as fast as possible to get it done. On 3 separate occasions you popped into the house and urged to get all 3 rooms done. Again sorry for confusion but lets be fair on the assumptions."

This company was very professional and responsive.  Gary contacted me right away when I messaged him via Angie's list to set up the appointment.  The painter that arrived (Paul) came out the first day to power wash the house before completing the prep work. He returned the next day to finish the prep work and complete minor repairs to the exterior and cover the windows.  He painted the complete exterior of my home in one day.  When complete we did a thorough walk around and made touch ups as we went.  Paul was very patient as I was picky in spots.  He wanted to make sure that I was happy with the job.  I am very pleased with the work completed and will definitely use this company again in the future.  My house looks new again!

This company was awesome. The man that came, Michael, was professional, he arrived promptly, got right to work, finished in good time and, even though it was not necessary, he did a third coat of paint to be sure he had done a good job and did not miss anything. He cleaned up everything and made sure I was happy with the job before he left. I am over the top happy with this company and especially Michael. The price I paid for the job was very reasonable.

My kitchen cabinets re-staining exceeded my expectations, far more than I could have ever dreamed. Not just because of the high quality of the work done but what made this project special were the people inStyle painting have on their staff.
I met designer Ray after sending an email from their website. He came out and showed me pictures of all their previous work.  Ray guided me through all the modern finished even called one of their previous customers to show me their kitchen and how beautiful it turned out.
Next, I met Rick their contractor. This is a man who has never uttered the word, "no." He only says, "We can make it happen." Once Rick came onsite, the project ran like clockwork. His team arrived on time each day, dealt with a curious homeowner  (me) who was onsite as well, and left each workday with the site neat and tidy. It was a pleasure to have them redo my kitchen cabinets.
I can't tell you how grateful I am to inStyle team that this project went so smoothly. I rarely had to make any decisions, I didn't have to worry about mistakes or errors, and best of all, they finished the project when they said they would.  I got exactly the kitchen I wanted and the whole experience was amazing.
The only problem I have now is my bathrooms are jealous of the kitchen. I'll have to hire inStyle again in about a year to make sure my bathrooms feel important again! :-))))

The painter who came was an extremely nice gentleman. He was punctual and professional. His job was to paint two bedrooms for my girls. The ceiling needed to be white and the walls pink. The job took considerably longer than my husband and I thought would have been appropriate for the task. We have painted many rooms in the past but chose to hire someone this time since we are inexperienced at painting ceilings, we were in the process of moving, and we had a 10 day old baby. The amount of time spent on the project was annoying but would have been overlooked if the paint job had been well done but I'm disappointed that it was not. Before he left after about 20 hours of work in two days, I did a walk thru with him to inspect the work and I was very let down at the quality. There were many places with paint on the base boards (in pink), spots missed, and worst of all he got pink paint on ALL of the pull strings for the blinds on the windows. Those are fabric strings and paint does NOT come out. The solution he offered me was that I should paint them white to cover the pink (no thanks). I was pretty frustrated but didn't say much since there was really nothing that could be done. Now almost three months later I'm still finding so many errors in his work. I wanted to be able to recommend this company because they were very friendly on the phone and they accommodated us by sending a painter out with very little notice. They had great ratings here so I was expecting more. I hate to say though that I would not call them again for future painting projects.
Response from InStyle Painting & Remodeling
"Dear Customer, thank you for the feedback. I'm sorry you feel like the amount of time spent on the project was "annoying". From the beginning we made it clear that for one painter it is a 2 day job. The painter did everything in his power to do a quality job and finish within 2 days. As you mentioned he even worked 10 hour days. Again, working the extra time and not billing you for it was done to make you happy and not in any way we try to be "annoying". As far as the paint, you did not mention that the room walls were previously painted a different color pink. We tried to explain to you that the pink on the trim and blinds were from the previous painting project and even offered to paint the trim white (at no charge) to make you happy."

Michael was puntional, friendly, communicative, professional & was eager to please the customer, whatever it took. He put in a full day, but showed the same attention to detail at the end of the day as he did at the beginning. The quality of the work exceeded other painting companies that I have hired by far. Even the cleanup phase was well done.

Purchased Deal for $275 Interior Painter for a Day. I had to reschedule at the very last minute - which I was able to do with no problem. The provider was very quick to respond to my request and I really appreciated how flexible they were with the schedule and timing. Arrived right on time - asked a few questions to make sure he understood exactly what I wanted painted and not painted - and got right to work. The painter was very pleasant / courteous, conscientious, and detailed in the prep work and clean-up - but also provided an excellent end-result. I'm very pleased with the appearance and quality of the painting that was completed.

I read the great reviews on inStyle Painting on Angies List and decided to give them a try.
I called on a Saturday morning with a desperate need to have some interior painting done at a rental home I own.  It involved painting a difficult-access 2 story stairwell and several other rooms.
Based on my description, Ray gave me a very reasonable quote over the phone (which he honored to the dollar after actually visiting the house), and agreed to meet me the following day at the job location.
After reviewing the job description on-site, Ray committed to doing the job just 2 days later.  Sure enough, like clockwork, he showed up on the job at the exact scheduled time, and amazingly powered out the entire project  in a day's time.
I have to say the companies work was absolutely flawless.  Not a drop of paint anywhere, the walls all nicely covered, all woodwork and trim were carefully masked off.  And when the job was complete, all his materials were removed and the house was ready for occupancy.
I was so impressed I then contracted with him  for an exterior trim painting job at another location, again a difficult 2 story house.  Again, the job was done exactly on the date promised, and absolutely without fault.
In this day and age when it's near impossible to get a craftsman to even show up at the appointed time to give an estimate, it is refreshing to see a young man (albeit 14 years experience in this business) who takes pride in meeting his commitments, and in the quality of his work.
I'll be using him many more times in the future!

Love, love, love these guys!  Used them previously to paint the interior and now had them come out and paint exterior of our home.  Paul and the crew spent entire day prepping the house.   They power washed and scraped all the old paint, fixed rotten wood around the perimeter and even repaired a broken window frame as a surprise to me.  Next day, they put 2 coats of Sherwin Williams paint and let everything dry properly.  Third day they came back and touched up all areas and stained my front door.  From beginning to the end, everything was done professionally and with the highest quality.  You can tell they really care about their work.  To my surprise, I got a follow up from the office manager to ensure the whole process went smoothly and I was completely satisfied.   This was a nice touch and one of the reasons why I already referred them to all my neighbors. Thanks again and I hope the entire neighborhood uses you guys!

A family member recommended this Instyle Paitning to me after she'd worked with them on a few home interior projects.  Ray is the one you get when you schedule a paint estimate and look for contact info on the website.  He was very professional and great with communication before, during, and after our project.  I did this from out-of-state, never seeing my paint colors in person, or viewing them in different rooms with the natural lighting before I moved my things.  He was very responsive and provided suggestions when one of the colors I chose would need additional, more expensive coats.
Instyle Painting uses Sherwin-Williams and Kelly Moore paint.  I went with SW and he automatically selected the ProMar 200 low VOC paint.  His staff undergoes background checks before hiring.  They were very accommodating around my schedule.  Ray met for a final walkthrough and addressed all my needs.   Ray insisted to call if I ever need any touch ups or have any questions at all.  Additionally, he is electronically savvy and communicates through email, phone, and text message and provided me with electronic copies of all the important paperwork, including warranty, contract, and receipt.
I was thrilled upon walking into my new home and finding the paint job so well done. Ray also offered that if I needed any home improvement services and he had a trustworthy referral, he would let me know.  I would trust him with any paint job I needed.

In terms of the prep beforehand and the painting, it was not good work.  The walls obviously needed a second coat, and I had to call in another company to redo the rooms.
Response from InStyle Painting & Remodeling
"Dear member, you purchased our painter for day promotion.. When the painter got onsite he explained due to the current color in the rooms you will need 2 full coats. You wanted to rush and complete everything in one day. Once again we explained that 2 full days will be needed to do the job correctly due to needing 2 full coats of paint. You insisted and we followed your instructions to complete everything in one day. This forced the painted to rush the prep work and did not give enough time to have paint dry before applying more coasts. We offered to come back the second day and much discounted rate just to have enough time to do this properly. I'm sorry you preferred to rush and not follow correct procedures."
