Dreamedia Home Theater

If you are looking to have a theater room installed in your home I would highly recommend you contact Dreamedia and ask for Zack to come out and give you a quote. We are first time home theater owners and had no clue what it would cost or what it entailed. I am usually a DIY guy, but with so many options in projectors, screens, speaker and audio equipment, wiring, etc... I decided to call home theater installation companies because when it came to this I wanted it to be done by someone with experience as I had none. I called 3 companies to get quotes and Dreamedia was one of them. Dreamedia scheduled Zack to come out and provide us a quote. Zack was punctual, personable, thorough and patient. He did an excellent job in explaining the room configuration, process and equipment options that fell within our desired price range. Zack was also friendly and noted that he was happy to help us whether we wanted just a projector, wired sound system or a full theater room. Zack provided us the package we requested and did not attempt to push us or persuade us into options we did not need or want. Zack however, also provided us quotes with the modified enhancement options we requested. I took a few days and did my due diligence in comparing quotes against equipment and cost with the other companies and found Dreamedia‘s options were better quality, had more features and were upgraded equipment from the models and systems the others were offering and still fell within our budget where the others did not. Zack and his team of four professionals arrived on time on the scheduled day, and finished in the time frame he provided. He thoroughly explained the equipment operations and controls. He also explained that should I need any other equipment added to the system he would come out to connect it to the receiver and program the remote, ie. Playstaytion, or other media outlet at no additional cost. It’s been 5 days since the install day and Zack just called to follow up, WOW!!! Great customer service!! Loving family time and enjoying movies, TV and watching the kids dance to music videos on youtube, it’s like their own personal little concerts. The experience is AMAZING, thank you Dreamedia, Zack and crew!!!

As many other customers mentioned in their reviews, I have good words to add for Dreamedia. Zach was very helpful and great sales person. As he actively participate in installation process, he knows his stuff well. He was very responsive to our initial call. Very professional explaining different options as well as choices. One of the great quality I observe in Zach has a great listening skills and positive attitude. I had fix budget in mind to execute my work, he was able to curtain different solutions for my need, instead of just forcing the solution which may have put me out of my budget. I also noticed one manufacturing and/or shipping defect after installation which Zach addressed in timely manner with replacement. This is a business and no one work without acceptable profit but keys are one should be reasonable with price, open/flexible in designing right solution and be honest with good work ethics are hard to find traits. I am surely consider Zach/Dreamedia for any future home entertainment need.

I was very satisfied with the work and professionalism of the Dreamedia Team. There customer service is exceptional. I would definitely hire them again. :0)

Root Cause: The technician failed to properly diagnose one of the camera's problems. 

Result: Over charged me 199 dollars for a cable run I could not use.  

The tech arrived hours late (And that's ok, they called). He quickly deduced that the back door camera was functional, but the cable was bad.  I asked the tech to VERIFY the front door camera had the SAME issue. Tech said the failure would be the same for both and presented a quote  for teo cable replacements at 199 apiece - HIGHWAY ROBBERY for that sort of job.

 

Being in a cast,  I could not do it myself (As I WOULD HAVE), I unhappily proceeded. 10 minutes later he comes to me and tells me, "We have a new problem" The front camera cables had been chewed by mice and was rendered inoperable. He wanted to quit right there but I made him try to fix it since he was going to charge me for two cable drops any how. 



Well, he gave up after 15 mins and left me with the inoperative camera and a cable I have no way of knowing if I can EVER use it.



I wouldn't recommend these people for any thing other than Dishappointment.

I do not want them back on my property, as I do not trust them at all.
