DENTAL REPUBLIC MANAGEMENT LTD

I have a DMO for the first time and was assigned to Dental Republic Allen. It's a couple towns over but they were the only preferred provider who could take me on short notice. When I made the appointment, I made it clear that I was coming in for my six-month cleaning. I was told to arrive at 9:15a to complete paperwork. My appointment was at 9:30 but wasn't called into the back until 10:06. I had x-rays done then was moved into one of the chairs. I'm used to the hygienist cleaning my teeth then the dentist coming in afterwards to check the teeth. Instead, I was left alone in the room for 10 minutes then the dentist comes in. He was nice. He checked my teeth, said everything looked great and then left the room. The hygienist returns, tells me that my next step is the cleaning and that I need to schedule another appointment for that at the front desk. I was beyond confused. After inquiring with the receptionist, cleanings can only be done when the "assigned" dentist (Dr. Bang) is in the building... but Dr. Bang was assigned to another location for the week. I wrongly assumed the dentist that checked my teeth (the one who also moved on to the next room to begin a root canal) was the assigned dentist. I go on to ask if Dr. Bang was scheduled to be out before I had made my appointment and she said yes. I ask why this information was not divulged when I made the appointment and why I was allowed to make this appointment at all... she had no answer. Needless to say, I will not be returning.

I like their service. They are really professional. They do a good job. They are helpful. They basically do what I want and not just pull my teeth. They do what they can to save my teeth. I've not had any problem at all with their availability. The office environment is really good.
