Ashby Garage Doors

The installation went well and the garage door opener works great. They were very reasonable with their pricing and I would definitely recommend them if you need any work done in relation to garage doors.

They did what I asked. It all worked out great. They did good.

Great.  Our garage door broke Thursday evening.  I called Paula Friday and set an appointment for Saturday morning.  all work complete in less than an hour!

Because the doors on our outside shop are so large (12 foot wide by 14 foot high) it is generally hard to get somebody to come out here and work on them. Worse, because I am in a wheelchair, I have to have them working via the power openers. So when one of my neighbors climbed up a ladder to see why the chain drive had fallen off, and informed me that it appeared that the sprocket had been damaged, I immediately feared that I would have both trouble getting somebody to make the repair and that that repair would be expensive. I was pleasantly surprised when the person I spoke to at Ashby said that they could have somebody by that afternoon, although they did warn me it would be late in the afternoon. The technicians showed up about 5 o'clock and immediately diagnosed the problem, which, unfortunately, was rather severe. I told them it was no problem if they wanted to come back at a later date and they said that it would be good idea to do it the next afternoon as they could bring the specific tools and parts that would be needed. Since I knew that I would be out most of the next afternoon we left the side door unlocked for them and moved the car out of the way. When we got home about 5:30 the next afternoon they were just finishing up what was obviously a very labor-intensive job repairing and readjusting a broken, rather complex, mechanism. I thought the cost was extremely reasonable for the amount of work! I am thankful to Ashby, and to Angie's list for helping me find somebody local to keep those big shop doors working.

Very well. I've used Ashby for years and have never had a problem. They are prompt, reasonable, and fast.

They responded quickly, and remedied the problem promptly. They were very nice and responsive, and only charged me for the service call. I was very happy with them and their ability to solve my issue.

He was punctual, very responsive, and very professional. He actually came on the same day I called. I called early morning and he came early afternoon. He showed me the safety features, walked me through how to use the keypad on the outside and the multi-function unit on the inside garage wall and how to use 2 remotes for the garage door. He cleaned up after himself very nicely and was very polite. Price includes labor and parts and the key pad. Usually for garage doors the key pad is an extra charge.
