I took my laptop in as a last ditch effort before giving up on it and getting a new one. I took my laptop to his house to save money. He optimized some things to help it run faster. Turned out my fan had gone out and he ordered and installed a new one at a great price. Very prompt, courteous and reasonably priced. He also answered all my random questions and gave me advice on maintaining my laptop. For very little money I was able to keep my old laptop.
My only complaint is that when I tried to call him recently for some work he didn't return my calls. Maybe he's out of business, I don't know.
My Laptop power button broke and I could not power up my Laptop. I explained to Brian my dilemma and the need to get it the laptop running the same day. Brian told me to bring it over and he would diagnose the problem.
Brian quickly diagnosed the problem and showed me how to power it up while he orders a replacement keyboard. He will call me once he receives it and he will complete the repair.
I was very appreciative that he was able to get me up and running while he ordered the replacement keyboard.
Brian did not charge me for his services today and the cost for the new keyboard will be $40.00 plus labor.
I am very happy to find Brian and would highly recommend him for anyone having PC problems.

My PC is always current with virus definitions and Windows updates, but I couldn't get rid of this persistent virus causing pop-ups and possibly unknown damage. Someone from our IT support team at work checked out my PC and made some improvements, but still didn't solve the problem. I am so glad to be a member of Angie's List, otherwise I wouldn't have found Brian at Allen Geeks! I contacted him by email and he promptly responded and we agreed to a time for him to check out my PC on Saturday. He explained what he would do and why.
Of course I was reluctant to give someone remote access to my PC, but the reviews were so strong, I was willing to trust him. He did a couple of system scans, uninstalled NAV and installed a more efficient anti-virus and another tool for malware and did an operational review of my PC to ensure best performance.
