The contractor, Robin Reynolds, met with me several times to go over exactly what I wanted, and did not charge me for consultation time. When we decided to proceed, he and I went over the contract and agreed to what he would provide, and the items I needed to purchase and provide in addition to his services. Everything was spelled out. The renovation would take approximately four weeks, and he told me what kind of prep to do on my end.
The demolition work was done, and all the debris was removed promptly. The work crew laid down floor and carpet protection in all work areas. They started at 9am every day, and were done by 6pm most days. The entire crew, including painters, tile installer, plumber, woodworkers, and helpers, was friendly and professional. The rebuild of the bathroom, shelving, painting, and other work was done efficiently and on time. There were a few hiccups along the way - some strong fumes from the primer (the neighbors weren't happy, but it dissipated quickly), wrong items purchased by me at Home Depot, and new stone needed for the tub surround, but overall the projects came in on time and on budget. I added some extra work - new ceiling fans in two rooms, repainting of the fireplace trim, and replacement of toilet seats, but these were added to the original contract. Again, no surprises on the final invoice.
The entire process went smoothly, and every day I came home to something new being completed. My husband and I were able to stay in the house and use the kitchen and other areas not being worked on. The end result is truly beautiful, especially the master bath and shelving. My husband and I are thrilled with the work, and plan to use Artisan's Remodeling for additional projects. Robin came highly recommended to me, and I have recommended Robin to several friends. This was a very good experience. Also, Home Depot's Brinkman Store #577 was just great to work with, too. I have used them for other projects, and they give great help and advice, plus a very easy return process.

Robin Reynolds and his crew are professionals. He was patient with me for six months while I reassured my husband the repairs were necessary. The contract detailed the work to be done, price and time of completion. Everything was completed as the contract stated. We (including my husband) will hire ARS to complete our interior repairs soon.

He did a reallly nice job on the door. They did a beatufuily job on the house. The contrcator himsield id the door. I wanted to new tv stand, Rob diffeernent options, and we eleced to reconfigured it. He does a really nice on wood owrking. Every was really just perfecet.

The crew took great pains to keep consturction dust out of the rest of the house and they entered and exited through a back door to keep down the possibility of tracking dust into the house. The job took a little longer than originally anticipated, but that was in large part due to having them build a new custom cabinet. Overal, the kitchen looked a whole lot better when they were done with the project. Our neighbor was so pleased withthe work Artisans did in our house that they hired them to do major remodel in their home. That job was completed just before we moved out of Houston and was beautiful!

We had an incident where my wife fell and put her head through the sheetrock in our kitchen, making a rather large hole. Artisan's Remodeling came out and made a repair. They cut out the damaged area, inserted a patch and "floated" the edges. They then matched the paint color and repainted the patched area twice to assure proper coloring. We cannot tell there the damaged are was. It was a beautiful job well done!

The work done was top notch! The work crew was very polite and punctual. Mr. Reynolds supervised all work and made suggestions to further enhance the kitchen area. They were careful about not getting dust from their work into the rest of the house. My wife is thrilled with her new kitchen and loves to show it off to visitors. It is a 100% improvement over what we had before the remodel.
