Our home was damaged by a tornado on April 3, 2012. The contractor was sent by my insurance agent and was hired to repair our home. The contractor was supposedly a premier /preferred contractor and was bonded and such..... The house was painted and there are cracks, sloppy work on trim and areas not painted. Some areas are flaky and you can see the sheet rock or the outline of areas that were repaired. The contractor was slow to return calls and did nothing to help weatherize our home from additional storms. He complained when he was asked to do additional work for the insurance company and did not like their clients checking up on their work. We paid him a a third of the insurance settlement to continue work on our home. He billed for work that he never completed and we owe him money. The insurance adjustors and independent contractors are in agrement that he had only completed very little of the work and all of it would have to be redone again.
