As President of our HOA, I want to make sure our 23-unit property gets good service and keeping water out of our dwellings is paramount. Over the past 13 years, we have had a number of roofing companies tackle various issues for us, all have been lacking. That is until, we linked up with Americana Roofing. They have helped us create a maintenance and replacement plan for the years ahead. They also are addressing immediate needs via meticulous inspections of all roofing systems and components and prompt service. They have solved problems that others have created. I can't say enough good about Kerry White and his team.

I called to have a leak in my bedroom repaired. Rex called me the next morning and set an appointment for the afternoon. Arrived 30 minutes early, immediately found the source of the leak and repaired it at NO CHARGE. Will return to install the down spouts in the next few days.

They did a good job on the roof. They were fine but when I asked for the release of lien for me to sign and which my insurance would like to have and it was almost $4000.00 more than what he quoted me before. Since the quote and what he has had on his lien did not match, the insurance money did not come to us so we have to pay out of our pocket. So it's like he quoted us $6000.00 and it came back $9000.00. So basically now we don't get any from the insurance to pay them. He really messed up on that one. He basically did lie to me. He is very dishonest. The roof took a lot longer because they are late the first day. So it took them two days when it should have been one and it took them a total of one month to fix everything and I need to call every time.

"(member name removed), I apologize that you had a bad experience with our company. Your feelings are very unrepresentative of our average customer experience. I feel however I need to point out several facts. To begin with, we were only hired to repair your roof, and not your fence or floors. We did not contract to do any other work. The value of our quote for repairing your roof was for the amount as assigned by the insurance company and was contingent upon price fluctuations and scope changes, all as approved by your insurer. This is spelled out very clearly in our customer agreement and is a standard way of doing business in the insurance restoration industry. Our final invoice to you and the insurance company included supplements approved and paid by your insurer to you in addition to your original payment from the insurer, and included sales tax as approved by your insurer. Our lien release to you also reflected these amounts. In addition, we provided you the lien release at least three different times, and were never informed of any issues with the bank not accepting the release. We were persistent in asking about proceeds from your insurer because we were led to believe you had funds available and already approved for spending by your mortgage company before we began our work. In actuality, you did not have the money to begin the repair work. There was no dishonesty or lying on our part. Regardless of what the final amount due was though, that doesn't explain why you never paid us anything for a roof you say we did a good job on- not even the amount you think we are owed. Your roof was installed on December 3, 2011, not October 1 as you state, and it took approximately 1 1/2 days to complete, not "a lot longer" as you state. Yes, we are able to complete many roofs in a day. If the extra 4 hours inconvenienced you, I sincerely apologize. However, this was never mentioned as a problem to anyone on our team during the process. We would have gone out of our way to accommodate any concerns you may have had. As to "fixing everything" taking an extra month, I'm not sure what you are referring to, as I have no records of us returning to your property to make any corrections. When we completed the job, It was 100% complete. Perhaps you have us confused with your fence or flooring contractor. Again, I am sorry for your experience not being positive with us, but I believe the details you are sharing and the grade you gave our company are very incorrect, undeserved, and not truly representative of the work in question. Americana did a great job. After a big hail storm in our area there were plenty of contractors who came out of the woodwork. Many were shady and only interested in getting their signs up in our yard. I could tell from our first interactions that Americana was different, they were local and did quality work in order to earn customers. Kerry and Wade did a great job of providing us with excellent service and excellent pricing to help get the job done under our constraints. As with any major job, there were a few things that needed to be cleaned up and addressed after the job and Kerry was very responsive and even came out to do much of it himself. Very hard working crew in some hot Texas summer heat.....great job and got the job done (even working on Father's day ....with our permission of course). Would highly recommend Americana to friends and family.

Kerry White was referred to us by a friend that had him replace his roof. Kerry was totally professional going straight up on the roof to see what the condition was. He came back with detailed drawing and had already figured what we were looking at for the price. We were very pleased with the price and told him to do it. The next week he had the materials dropped when he said they would be and two days later his crew was there at 8:00am taking off the old roof. The entire job took around 3 days (@4,500 sq foot house). They did an excellent job of cleaning up and even used a Magnetic roller to get up any nails that might be on the driveway. The only thing Kerry said might be extra would be if any of the plywood planking was bad there would be a modest charge to replace it (I think $30.00 for a 4x8 sheet). We didn't have any bad planking. We have already been through several good rain showers and a couple of hail storms and know that our excellent roof is protecting our home. The gutter work was recommended to clean out the gutters...test all down spouts and install Gutter Helmets so we don't have to clean the gutters ever again. Well worth the $1200 to never have to clean leaves out of gutters again. I have used a lot of contractors to do work on houses I have owned and getting an honest one is getting harder and harder. You are safe with Mr. Kerry White. He does excellent work an at a fair price.
