Tony's Custom Carpentry was started to fill in a void in the current market and to make a business that the people of Alamo and surrounding areas can place their trust in. Ridiculously, the remaining work was simply to install several painted corbels, which were (supposedly) already bought and painted - likely about 15 minutes of work. However, I never saw the corbels despite having specifically paid about $100 for their purchase and painting.
His work was acceptable, but his actions in not completing the agreed upon work and keeping the materials bought with my money are simply theft.
