I later got a call from the adjuster that he agreed to everything Details needed to fix my car.  But I told Ron I'm not going to fight with the insurance company, that I don't have time for this.  It was this point, Ron informs me that if I'm not willing to fight the insurance company I should get a wrecker and pickup my car.  Next morning in the pouring rain I did just that and towed it to Sewell of Plano.  Glad I did.  I got numerous reports Details was great at body work, but their hard sell, take it or leave it attitude was too much for me so I left with my car before they really got started on it.  I wasn't going to write this but this Angie's List kept prompting me for a review and perhaps the owner and his protege will change their customer relationship approach.

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience in getting my sons car repaired at Details. From my very first conversations with Ron, in which he laid out the process of working through the claims issues with my insurance provider to the day I picked up the car everything flowed exactly as he laid out. Details in not some slap it back together body shop. If you truly want your vehicle repaired BETTER than new, take your car to Ron at Details. He treated my car like it belonged to himself, and the work was PERFECT. My car sat through a storm of baseball sized hail , and when I got it back it was PERFECT, you could not ever tell there was damage, and with a black car this is AMAZING. The paint job was flawless, it looked like I was gazing into a pool of black water. Details is the place to go, don't hesitate Ron's the man.

Sorry to say that although their work is good, Justin, is quite hard to work with. Therefore, work might be good, but service is very difficult. We had to be without a car for a month.

I could not be happier with Details. Their work was excellent. The damage was to the right front fender and you can't tell it was ever wrecked. Ron was expert at handling the insurance claim and handled all of the additional requests. I was not aware that most insurance companies write a and quot;low-balland quot; estimate and pay your claim based on that amount, and then you have to demonstrate that there is additional damage that requires additional money to fix. Ron was very familiar with this process and handled it with out me ever having to get involved. Top notch service, top notch knowledge of the process, top notch repair to my vehicle. I would HIGHLY recommend Details to anyone who needs body repair, especially if you are dealing with insurance, and especially if you have a high end vehicle.

It went very well. They were very professional. The job was done well - they weren't the least expensive, however. They offered a free-of-charge buffing in 30days - came in at that time and they promptly followed through on that offer. I was very pleased from start to finish with this company. Also, the quality of work was excellent.

Details Ltd was recommended to me by the dealer from whom I bought my car. My six-weeks old car suffered major hail damage from the East Dallas storm in June. State Farm OK'd about $5,900 in repairs, including a new roof, hood and fender. The guys at Details told me that the appraisers always miss a bunch of stuff. Two supplemants later, the total reached almost $10K. After seeing 250 hail dents on a new car, it's hard to imagine that it will ever be right again. I have to say that the car came out perfect, including a complete re-paint, which State Farm didn't want to do. Ron argued that it didn't make sense to try to blend new paint on a door rather than completely re-painting it. I also found out that modern body work involves use of a spot welder that attaches to the dent, pulls it out and then detaches, leaving the undersealant intact. Pretty cool. Details gives a lifetime warranty on their work. Part of this is that they follow up after a month with a free wax job to ensure that their paint work is properly protected. Details, Ltd really is a cut above other body shops.

I was not actually a paying customer at Details Ltd.. I was rear-ended and the other driver's insurance company (Amica) asked me to go here for the repair. They are their preferred shop. Brenda the acctount and sometimes receptionist helped me set up the appt and a rental. I just had to drop the car off and then went straight to the rental company, got a car, and left to work. I dropped my car off on a monday and the work was done by wednesday evening. The people that work in this shop are very courteous and seem to actually care about the customer. They try to make your experience as pleasant as possible. They only use quality parts and supplies. I was told that they used a pretty expensive paint and to come back in a month for a buffing which would be free.

The car looks great and I would definitely use this shop again!

They do a great job. We have used them for years. They do wonderful work. They are not the fastest but they are accurate, thorough and conscientious.

I had gotten myself into a small car accident a week ago at my apartment. I crashed the front passenger bumper into a support pole holding up the awning to my covered parking space. It looked like someone took a baseball bat and whacked just below my passenger headlight. I took it to three different body shops and got a feel for how much the work was going to cost. I selected Details, Ltd., because they had the "midpoint" estimate, which I figured was probably the closest to the actual repair costs and they were also supported by my insurance company. The staff were exceeding polite and professional. Talking with them, they showed real concern about my well being and treated with respect--both at their shop and with the car rental agency. I initially priced my repair work without going through insurance, just to see what the "actual" costs were going to be; however, when time came to turn it over, I called my claims adjuster and got the ball rolling. Details, Ltd. called me later that afternoon giving me a status update and a revised estimate of what the repairs would cost (see above) that they would later send to my insurance company. Thanks to being a trusted body shop that my insurance company uses, I was able to get my car back within a week! They did such a fantastic job, it looked almost brand-new. The only thing that they didn't have time to do was apply a wax polymer coating to the new paint job over the front bumper, but I'm already planning when I'll return and get that last little bit done. The shop itself looks pretty nondescript from the outside, being almost hidden by some other car body shop and strip mall merchants nearby. But I would highly recommend them to anyone needing to get body work done.

I wouldn't take my Volvo to anyone else, and I would use them again. They are very thorough, it might take awhile because they are very popular and very busy. If you're looking for someone to do the job fast, maybe look somewhere else, but it's worth it. Only sometimes it takes awhile.

They were very personable, quick, and washed my car as part of the service.

I TOOK MY BMW TO DETAILS LTD BECAUSE A FRIEND HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THEM. IN FACT, ONCE I GOT MY CAR BACK, IT LOOKED LIKE NOTHING HAD EVER HAPPENED. THE QUALITY OF THEIR WORK WAS SUPERIOR. THE WORK WAS SUPPOSED TO TAKE ABOUT A WEEK, BUT ENDED UP TAKING THREE WEEKS. THERE WAS SOME DELAY IN THE DELIVERY OF PARTS. OTHER THAN THAT, THEY WERE VERY GOOD AND PROFESSIONAL.
