Best automotive repair shop I’ve ever experienced!! They were fully transparent through the entire process. They even handled everything with my third-party warranty and got me back on the road without any hiccups!

They did an excellent job. I had a noise in the front end of my Chevy Traverse, and they were able to identify it and fix the problem. I have used this company for the last 20+ years and have always had stellar service from them, at a fair price.

I have used them for 20 years. They are very honest and knowledgeable about repairs needed or not needed. I would give them A's across the board. After 20 years, I will continue to use them. When you find a car guy you stick with them.

Auto Service, Auto Radiators
I took my SUV to this place since it was so highly recommended on Angie's list. I was having a leak in my radiator fluid. I left the car with them over night to diagnose the issue. They said I had a lead in a bypass hose and that I needed to go ahead and replace all my hoses. Since they were going to have to pull all the front mountings off the engine to do this, they would do a timing belt replacement along with all the other belts for just a littlle bit more. When I got the car back, things were fine for about 100 miles. Then, I noticed that the engine was knocking. I was due for an oil change, so I took the car to my local lube and oil place. As the local mechanic was performing their fluid checks, they pointed out that I had a cracked radiator. So, it looks tome that either Addison Automotive missed the cracked radiator when they were diagnosing the coolant leak (which makes them incompetent), or they caused the cracked radiator (which makes them both incompetent and dishonest). It seems way too much of a coincidence that this leak just happened right after I took the car to them to diagnose a coolant leak!
On an additional note, the car started making an awful racket that sounded just like a lagging belt - like the tension had been set wrong on it about 3 weeks after I had piced up the car. Since I had previously paid the $1400 to Addison for this type of work, I went back to them to get the tension set correctly. After they took the car for a day, they tell me that the hup and clutch on my AC compressor is falling apart. They want an additional $1400 to replace the AC compressor and expansion valves. Coincidence? Remember, I have only had the car back from them a short time and I had never had a problem with the AC in this car before now. I declined their service. So, in essence it looks to me like Addison Automotive broke my AC during a summer that is the hottest on record... in addition to their incompetence with my radiator.
DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!

Smooth process, from estimate to delivery; this parallels work I've done with them many times previously.

I originally took my 2005 VW Bug in because I heard a clunking sound in the right front. I had no idea what it was but it didn't sound good! I told them if it was something that could possibly be covered by the warranty, then do not fix it and I would pay the $40 min charge. Well, they called and said it was fine, that I could pick it up and they told me to take it to the dealer and didn't charge anything. So I decided to see how much to replace the shocks on my SUV. When they quoted me the cost of the parts, it was a little less that I had gotten when I checked at autoparts stores and online. The rest of the cost was labor and a couple of little things they did. I also asked them about the heat and air on the SUV. I only have hot and cold--nothing in between. (I had asked at the dealer and they quoted between $700 and $1300.) She asked if I could live with that and said if I could then just leave it because it would probably be around $700 in labor just to fix it because of the way Ford does their air systems. The entire dash has to be pulled out to get to it. So I don't think they are going to take you for everything you've got but will give an honest opinion about whether or not you need something fixed.

It was the same thing. You call they tell you everything that you need to know. They are very accurate with their estimates. The owner is really nice.

BEVERLY WAS VERY HELPFUL. ALTHOUGH THE ORIGINAL ESTIMATE FOR THE WORK WAS ONLY $150, SHE CALLED PROMPTLY TO LET ME KNOW THAT IT WOULD BE MORE EXPENSIVE BECAUSE OF UNIQUE FEATURES OF THE MODEL. THE WORK WAS ACCOMPLISHED AS PROMISED.

I WAS EXPECTING TO HAVE AN ESTIMATE FOR SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS AND SOME TERRIBLE PROBLEM. WHEN BEVERLY CALLED ME BACK, SHE TOLD ME IT JUST NEEDED A MINOR ADJUSTMENT AND WAS CHARGING ME $25. I HAVE BEEN USING THEM FOR YEARS AND THIS IS JUST A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF HOW THEY ALWAYS TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS. THEY ARE USUALLY 10%-15% MORE EXPENSIVE WHEN I HAVE SHOPPED THE WORK ELSEWHERE, BUT THEY ARE EXTREMELY HONEST AND I THINK THE FACT THAT I AM NOT PAYING FOR UNNECESSARY WORK PROBABLY SAVES ME A GREAT DEAL IN THE LONG RUN.
