It went well. Everything I was promised was done and then some. All employees were extremely polite and helpful

They gave us a price to fix the air conditioner and we decided it was not worth fixing on a car with so many miles.   We were pleased with their honesty.  Very prompt to work on any auto problems.

We wanted our eight year old car checked over thoroughly because we were giving it to our 16-year-old grandson. The technicians went over everything we were concerned about thoroughly and found that some brake work needed to be done, but everything else was fine. They were at all times professional, fast and friendly.

My daughter hit something in the road which damaged two rims, two wheel covers and two tires.  I took the car into Tom's because that is where I had recently bought 3 sets of tires for 3 cars, including the one in this incident.  I figured they would know what to do.  They floundered.  They could not locate OEM rims.  I was forced to do the leg work for them, hunting for rims and wheel covers at a junk yard only to return the rims because they were no good.  Tom's said they could order new rims online but could not promise that they would work.  I felt trapped and agreed there suggestion.  The rims came in, were installed, but the wheel covers would not fit.  So I pulled off the other two wheel covers so the car would look less stupid driving around. The dumbest person in this story was me for believing that Tom's truly believed in customer service.  I later found out that the rims were only an extra $20 dollars a piece from the dealer.  I would have gladly paid that if Tom's would have been honest up front. I am also dumb because I should have learned from a previous encounter with Tom's.  They were testing the same vehicle's alignment with a machine that was not set correctly.  I discovered this for them as I had just had the car aligned at another place of business.  The other place took my car to a second Tom's and that machine was correct.  So it took a competitor to take my car to a second Tom's to prove that the first Tom's alignment machine was not set up correctly. I will never go back to a Tom's Tire World.  And now I have seen their latest commercial where the owner says that they are all about customer service.  For me I see that as a line to get the unsuspecting into the door.
