The whole process was outstanding! We had some carpet and tile installed in a new addition on our home, as well as a kitchen update. The ladies in the office were very professional and basically picked the colors for us on all the carpet, tile, and granite after finding out what we liked, and viewing our home. They worked with the installers on scheduling, and for the tile designs, which were perfect. We had to wait over a couple of weeks for their installers because they were busy helping other homeowners, (which is a good sign when a company is busy) but, it was worth it!  The installers were did a excellent job, and cleaned up well behind themselves. All in all it was a great experience, and we feel like the products they sold us, and installed were of the very best quality.  My wife and I would recommend Menke's if you are interested in quality service, and material.

OK service. Met with a designer several times in the store and at the job site. We ran into some problems with having enough materials ordered (although I'd rather them order too little than too much) and with our designer forgetting to order certain materials, which postponed work. Professionalism was also an issue. Main concerns were pushiness on the part of the designer and the attitude of the instillation crew, who were reluctant to introduce themselves or answer questions about their process and who played their music loudly while installing despite being asked to turn it down. We also took issue with their instillation dates...despite ordering materials and discussing the job several times with the designer, she never talked to us about an instillation date, so we assumed it wouldn't be a problem. When we finally told her we were ready to install, she told us her workers were a month out. Granted, we should have brought it up sooner, but fault still remained on her due to her a) not telling us up front how far out her workers were so we could plan accordingly and b) never even discussing the install process until we brought it up. We'd use them again, but would go in there with a firm plan so we didn't get pushed around by the designer, and would demand an up-front install date.

It went great. They were accurate in terms of calculating the cost. They were also accurate about when they said they were coming to do the work, and when they were through they did a good job of cleaning things up. It was a good choice.

Very professional organization; punctual, thorough.

I was looking for places in Abilene, TX, which sold plantation shutters. This business was listed, so I stopped by the store to find out about their shutter products. I found a sales person to ask, but she seemed to be uninterested in helping me. She mentioned a brand of shutter they sold but did not offer to talk with me about the project or show me any information. I thanked her and left.

The overall job went amazing and everything was kept on schedule. I highly recommend Menke's and Kenneth McCoy and Son. I would hire them again and again!!
