Removal of the old system and installation of the new 'Carrier' equipment went smoothly, 2 1/2 days...Billy the installer, did a fantastic job. He was extremely careful not to tear anything up as the electric furnace, coils, air filter, etc share a utility closet with a large, chubby water heater. So the space is tight. Every aspect as to how to operate our new efficient system was throughly explained before finishing up the job. The wi-fi thermostat is easy to operate, it steps you thru the daily operations, then adjusts itself based on your preferences to make your home very comfortable.  You can monitor and/or make changes to your thermostat (if needed) from your 'smart' devices, just download the 'app' and your are all set from 'wherever' you are in the world! 
Our new Carrier HVAC Electric Heat Pump system with 'Greenspeed' technology was a wise investment for our home and comfort! This system is incredibly quiet, and has saved us hundreds $$$ already over our old inefficient HVAC system. Carrier offers the industry standard 10 year warranty on it's equipment. 
We choose to purchase an additional 5 year 'service warranty' from Hawkins of twice yearly check-ups.

He was on time, pleasant and explained what he was going to do. He completed the job in a timely manner and discussed what he found when he was done.

The system was replaced during a very hot summer and they provided me with a window unit for my bedroom so I was comfortable during the removal and installation.  The technicians went above and beyond my expectations.  During installation the technicians noticed that the hot water that shares the platform with the unit was leaning and reinforced the whole platform to straighten it up.  Due to their great work and attention to detail I am sure that the new system is operating at peak efficiency.   This system has changed my house profoundly for the better.  I have been amazed at the capabilities of the system.  It keeps my house so comfortable while saving me on my electric bill.  It is truly incredible what a difference it has made.  Mr. Hawkins and his staff are the best service people in any industry that I have worked with in Abilene.  I am so grateful I made the decision to install the system and extremely pleased by their professional service and installation.

Outstanding!  I have been a loyal customer of this company for many years and have always been extremely satisfied with the punctuality and professionalism displayed by their technicians.  Tom Hawkins has been superior in his ability to diagnose problems with my older home and suggest and implement creative solutions with a pricing structure that is fair and reasonable.  My wife particularly likes the little booties worn by the service personnel to insure that our floors remain clean.  Highly recommended for consistent courtesy, quality, and technical expertise.
