HABITAT FOR LEARNING

I loved that the kids did have some curriculum and that they were fed high quality foods for meals and snacks. The caregivers were all very attentive and my kids never complained. The downside to it all: I would have liked more emphasis on curriculum for the summer session, most of the extracurricular activities were geared toward the toddler age, and the facilities were old.

The ratios were very good for his age range but there was usually, anytime that I went there, a second person for the kids. We were picky at where my son goes. This was the only place that we could take him away from me and my wife that he wouldn't just start screaming at, so we felt really comfortable that way. The owners knew every kid by first name basis, it was pretty astonishing. The hours were reasonable. I think they were available from 6 in the morning to 6:30 at night so that works with our schedule. When my daughter had breaks from school, they would just put her in. I think we paid $30 extra dollars a week to put her in. They did have pick up from school on the south end of town.
