Express Electric - Abilene Licensed Electricians

Juan does know his stuff and was highly recommended by my realtor, big plus(es).  However, trying to track him down and get him commit to an appointment time took months.  He would commit to an appointment time but not show up and I would call him multiple times.  He finally randomly showed up on a day I happened to be home.  I understand he was real busy and he is a nice guy, but making and keeping appointments as well as answering or returning calls should be a big part of good business.

I was given the name of this company by our realtor.  I had to call him several times in order to get a response.  After meeting with us, he was supposed to come back the next week but didn't show up.  Finally, four days later, he completed the job.

I got estimates from several electrical contractors, and Juan Amezquita's proposal was $415 to $590 less than all other bidders.  He arrived promptly, alone, and worked steadily until the work was completed in a matter of a couple of hours.  City inspector came and passed the installation.  I tried to get him to discuss the possibility of rewiring the old house, but he said he had to go install some ceiling fans and left.  He never got back in touch about that project

Several weeks later I called him and asked him to come rewire two circuits.  He scheduled a time to do it, but did not show or call.  That is the last contact I had with him.

I'd hire him again for small projects, such as those described above.

After finally passing inspection for my duplex, my tenants moved in only to find the disposal switch was not wired correctly in one unit. After numerous calls and even a promise he would come later that day, it never got fixed. Cost around $100 to get it fixed. Later I found out the other unit had outlets that were not working and he never returned my calls. Cost another $200 to get that fixed. This electrician showed up and I thought he did good work so I paid him, but he never followed through on his workmanship guarantee.
