This company was referred to me by a couple of their previous customers. Dave came to measure and do the estimate. He showed up on time and measured. He said he'd have a quote for me in the next day or so. A couple of days later, he called and gave me the estimate. It struck me as kind of high and, the next day, I went to their place of business to discuss. We went over his estimate and eliminated some of the original countertops. He said he'd re-do the numbers. He asked for a down payment which, against all advice, I gave and we settled on an approximate installation date.
Over the next 4-5 weeks, I made several attempts to get a written estimate - just to confirm the work. We picked out the granite, ordered the sink, but still had not received the written estimate. I then received a call from another person there to come out and do a final check. I asked if he would bring the written estimate. He brings heavy paper out to make a template which he did relatively quickly and left the written estimate. We also settled on a more precise installation date. I noticed a discrepancy in the estimate which I easily resolved with Dave later.
The installers arrived on time and quickly got to work. They said it would take a day and that's exactly how long it took. The work was perfect except for the edge around a seam which they came back the next day and fixed in 20 minutes. I paid the balance of the bill.
Overall, I'd use them again without question. True, their pre-sale process is in need of improvement but I was treated more than fairly and the workmanship was excellent. They're more of an old fashioned "Word is their Bond" company and, in my case, it truly was.
