Briercroft Fire & Water Restoration

They're very proficient, on time, and excellent at removing stains. If a stain can removed - they can do it! They're the only carpet cleaners I've had, and I've used the company for years.

In one year, I think we had water damages three times, and none of our problem but our insurance began to wonder. They did an excellent job with the water damage. We called, and they were there almost by the time we hung up the phone. We had a water heater in the garage one time and it just sprayed everything. They got it out and dried and salvaged what they could. We have a storage room and the storage room people were working on the roof and they hit a water sprinkler. It wasn't over our unit but it ran under the walls and naturally rode under my Christmas ornaments and some of them were antiques. They were able to salvage even the boxes. It showed water damage but we were able to save even the boxes with the ornaments in them. The third time was also in our storage room. They were re-roofing, and we live in West Texas where it doesn't rain. One night, when they didn't have the roof protected, it rained, and rained in our storage unit. Again, they were there Johnny on the spot and got everything dried. In that particular part it was mainly just books and empty boxes, so it wasn't a bad one, but Briercroft was right there. As far as the water damage portion of their company, they did a wonderful job. We were pleased with the bathroom renovation but it took for ever. They started, and then they would go do something else, and what should have been completed in at the most two weeks, probably took a month. We had another bathroom, and I guess they decided that we are retired, but they got it done and the work was excellent. We are not unhappy with them, just that they were slow.

I have used them for years. They are excellent. They know what they are talking about, they do their home work and they have taken courses continually and they are very good. I use them 3 times a years but since I have got new carpets I have not used them. Their prices vary according to the sizes. They are very professional.

For all three occurrences, we called Briercroft and they were there immediately. They brought enough people to quickly move items out of the water. If items needed to be carried to their drying room they did so.
In the garage and under wall damage they carried our belonging to their drying room. When our stuff was returned they helped unload and sort by type so we could go through the boxed and evaluate the damage. In the last instance, they set up a drying room in another storage unit since their drying room was already full. Someone from Briercroft checked on the status of the drying each day until it was complete.
In all three instances they were prompt, professional and understanding of our age and feeings. Here is hoping that we never need Briefcroft again for water damage but if we do...we will call.

We had a meeting to discuss what we wanted. They came back with an estimate of the cost. We went with the general contractor to select the granite, tile, bead board and trim. We, personally purchased the cabinet pulls, sink and toilet. At first the bead board did not meet our expectations but was corrected. Our only complaint was that the wall texture, bead board addition and painting were sub-contracted to a new carpenter and painter and they were not the easiest people with which to work. I felt they were inexperienced and not willing to listen to what was wanted. The general contractor had to intervene for us to get what we wanted.

The work met our expectations even though it was slow going. It took longer than expected to complete the job. Since this was a second bathroom we were not inconvenience by the time. The estimated price was $1000 less than the actual cost which was okay since we did some quality upgrades.

We would use them again for remodeling projects.
