02 May 2025 Technician Connor (sp?) arrived at my house this morning 9:00 a.m. to repair a leak under my master bath sink. He arrived as scheduled, and after reviewing the sink, he explained what the work will entail. Twice he gave me thorough updates--easy to understand terms, and when he was finished, he showed me what the problem was. He replaced the old water shut off valves, and adjusted the water to a conservate level, so not to affect my water bill. Connor was very professional the entire time and did outstanding work in a short period of time. He gave me recommendations to keep the sink from future leaks. I highly recommend Black Plumbing and if you can, ask for Connor. You will not be disappointed. If allowed, a 10-Star Rating.

I had a bad drain clog. The toilet and shower backed up and made an awful mess. I called to have a tech come out to fix the problem. Jesse showed up in less than an hour. He solved the problem and even ran a camera through the pipes to make sure there were no more issues. Great job and super fast. Thanks Jesse.

Black Plumbing used to be a great reputable company, but that has changed. I have used them several times in the past and they had always provided great service at a great price. I had a water heater fail recently and had to get it replaced quickly. I bought the water heater myself from Home Depot and it was in the garage next to my bad water heater, so they didn't need to move it very far. They came the next day knowing they were replacing a water heater and they only sent one guy. He came and looked at it and said he didn't have the right parts, so he'd have to go get them despite knowing what the job was. He was gone for over an hour and when he came back he said he needed help getting the new heater in, so I helped him. I told him to reuse the drip pan and power cord, so the only thing he replaced was some short copper pipe from the wall and a ball valve. When he was done, he hands me a bill for $869 !! He charged me for 3 hours of labor even though he was gone for 1 of them, and $271 for "materials" which he refused to explain or itemize on the bill! He said "We're not the cheapest or most expensive". I estimate the cost of the materials used retails for about $80. I understand that they have to have a mark up, but that's ridiculous! I contacted the office, but they were no help and basically told me I could take my business elsewhere! I will never use Black Plumbing again for my home, business, or rent houses!...

Very well; They were able to do it on a weekend, and it was less complicated and quicker than expected.

Not much to say. . .  Courteous when taking the initial request for service; workmen prompt & professional; workmanship excellent; followup a day or two later to check to confirm our satisfaction.  Why isn't everyone like this!

They lowered the original estimate. However they did not re-connect a drain under the house so I had to crawl under to do it myself. They also left several pieces of pipe they were supposed to haul away so I had to dispose of them. It also seemed that the supervisor and the workers were not sometimes coordinated and were attempting to do things in different ways or in a different order. Overall they did the job well,and did come back to correct one minor problem. So far, so good.

Called and made an appointment with Chris Black for Friday at 3:30 pm, at 4:30 pm called they had forgotten, and sent someone over arriving at 5:05, looked at the faucet and said titneeded a new handle, all the plumbing stores were closed so couldnt do anything, this was 5:06,and wanted payment. I dient feel i needed to pay sonce my appoinment was at 330 had they been on time they could have purchased the handle and completed the job. This didnt go over well but he could not get ahold of Mr. Black. I know plumbers get busy, no problem missing the appointment, they should have said sorry and re-scheduled me. Wed the next week i call and see whats going on, they said theywould be back. Chris said after having a conversation with me about paying a service call sent someoneto repair the faucet.

Fine faucet repaired, no hot water, they did not adjust the regulator so the handle would spin and allow hot water to flow. I called Chris and ask about this he said he would send a courtosy visit the next week, butineeded a whole new faucet requiring themtocutinto my wall. I decided youtube the regulator repair, pulled the handle adjusted it and in 5 minuets had hot water. This is just the sdaest company. Chris needs to either be the boss or the plumber becuase he can not jugle everything in the buisness himself. They didcharge me for the first 30 second visit, when I paid for the repair that only allowed cold water.

I had used them before and the plumber was FANTASTIC! I had called everyone i knew and told them to use Black Plumbing, thne had to call and eat crow, use at your own risk. If you have an emergancey and call at off hours you talkk directly winth the plumber, if you call during buisness hours and get Chris, you will not be happy, customer service, all the way to completion and jopb quality suck. Therewas mud in my bathrom and shower from thier boots, some typofstuff istillhaven'tgot offmy whoer wall,just poor, poor service.

The work was good and both men worked for two and a half hours without breaks or slacking off.

Had to make two trips, on first trip the drain was and quot;snakedand quot; and both the plumber and I were sure the line was clear. The next day when running the washer, the sinks were filled with discharge water and then it spilled over on the floor from the washer discharge drain. Plumber came back and we decided that quite possibly the stuff removed had clumped around the grass and the roots from several small mesquite trees in the area, so he cut the line in a different place and the problem was solved.

Made the appointment by phone. Person taking the information was thorough and pleasant. The service rep called a day ahead to confirm and then called again about an hour before the scheduled time, confirming appointment a second time. Arrived on time, had all of the parts necessary to do the work. Work completed on time. Rep was pleasant and skilled. All work was done to my satisfaction. Wish I had thought to write down the reps name. He and the company are great!!!

I heard about them through my town Schneider. I had a very bad experience with them with regards to cleaning up, record keeping and billing. I would not use them again in the future.

This is 3 different trips and they are prompt and efficient. the waterheater had an esgimate and they were very reasonable. The other 2 we needed done then and they did not overcharge in my opinion.
