Ace Plumbing

I hired ACE plumbing to install  a new toilet in my master bath. The next day I noticed the toilet was leaking. I called Mr. Chesser back to let him know it was leaking and I was told he could not get to me until the following Monday. I spent the whole weekend with a leaking toilet. Monday came and Mr. Chesser never called or showed up. I left him a message and he never returned my phone call. If this plumber cannot properly install a toilet then I would advise you not to let him in your house.

Ace Plumbing came out on a warranty claim for my house. He lied and said he couldn't find the clean out to charge me more money outside the home warranty by climbing on my roof to do the clean out. He did the clean out and left. 35 days after the plumber performed the service we started having the same issues with the line backing up again.
I called the plumber and he informed me that he only warranties his work for 30 days and I was 5 days out of warranty. I argued with the plumber and he agreed to come out. He climbed on my roof again and this time found mud, which meant the line was collapsed. I asked him why he didn't notice that the first time and he didn't give me an answer. He said it would cost an insane amount of money to even figure out where the line was collapsed.
I immediately told him he was done working on this and needed to leave. The plumber then gave me another bill for a service call despite my argument with him over a crappy warranty. I explained to him that he should make a judgement call on the warranty. He refused and left.
The plumber then blew up my phone attempting to collect for the invoice. I sent him a letter stating my view that he was intentionally ripping me off in several different ways for more money after two weeks of harassment for collections. This was proven when the next plumber who replace my drain line was able to find the clean out in less than 5 minutes.
I would not recommend this plumber to anyone. If you have a home warranty - request another plumber.

I, homeowner, had a good experience using ACE on previous work.  I consulted with ACE regarding two plumbing issues.  To my surprise they recommended affordable solutions. 

Sometime in the past, a plumber which I will not name, installed a whole house water filter in the wrong location.  So, to benefit from the system, it had to be relocated to an interior room where the water main pipes were located.  Unfortunately, the water main pipes were located within a wall of built-in shelving, so shelving had to be removed to install a four foot tall water filter cylinder along with a smaller
filter which had to be wall mounted.

In no time ACE had removed and relocated the filters to their new location.  ACE customized the shelving to perfectly install the water filter system.  They had to cut away just enough shelving to fit the system while keeping the appearance of the shelving intact.  They did a great job!  On the flip side, ACE had to reconfigure the piping where they had removed the water system which was connected to the water heater.  They actually simplified the piping making it look professionally done.  Very happy...

Next project involved installing a mini water pump to improve hot water circulation to the far bathrooms of the house.   The hot water took three minutes to reach the fawcett once it was turned on.  ACE recommended this system after studying the piping layout of the house.  I was somewhat skeptical because I couldn't understand how water was to recirculate without a third set of pipes used for looping the hot water back to the water heater.  All my doubts were cast away once the work was done and tested.

Okay, now that the work was done, I was somewhat expecting a price increase because of the incidentals that happen along the way, right!  But to my surprise, the amount paid was actually $150 below the initial estimate.  Unheard of in the plumbing world!  Was I happy, you bet, and satisfied with all work performed.  It has been almost two months now since this work was completed, and I'm enjoying clean filtered hot water when I need it.  Happy face!

I, Homeowner, contacted ACE to repair two leaking fawcetts.  I had several household projects which required a plumber.  So, I opted to test ACE to perform a simple repair.  And if that went well then more work to offer.  Initially, when I spoke to ACE, I was surprised how fast they had scheduled the work.  Contacted them on Wednesday and they scheduled Friday to complete the work.  Friday morning I received a call from ACE to confirm the appointment. 

Once they arrived, I was greated with a friendly smile and introduction.  They listened to my issue and immediatley went to work.   Once half the work was completed, I began to discuss my fireplace conversion.  They inspected the log kit which included a burner.  The burner was to replace an existing fireplace wood starter.  The ACE plumber spoke with confidence that the work was minimal and could be performed while they were onsite. 

The bathtub fawcett repairs were completed and tested.  ACE had to leave the house to obtain a pipe adapter to which the new burner would be attached.  They returned in 30 minutes to complete and test their work.  In all, they were onsite approximately 1.5 hours and it cost me $107 dollars to complet both projects.

The owner of Ace Plumbing arrived early to the house to do the work.  A whole day early.  He knew I had to have him complete his work before other workmen could continue the bathroom remodel.  He courteously arrived early because he knew I was in a "situation" with other contractors.  He quickly and cleanly completed his work.  I paid him the bill before he left and I was very happy with his charges.  I would highly recommend this young man to anyone.  He is definitely a hard worker and seems most capable of any plumbing job you may have.
