Mid-South was prompt in proposing the project and getting the job done.

Les Howell responded to my inquiry and arranged a time to come out and perform an evaluation of my needs and give a cost estimate. We discussed option and their associated costs and agreed on a scope of work to be completed. He gave me a written estimate of the work required on the spot, and got back to me before the end of the day with a date that they could start the work. I accepted his quotation and the crew arrived when they said they would. The work was performed efficiently and with high quality within the agreed upon time frame. I was very pleased with the work and will use them again.

They were fantastic. They were on time and they did beyond what they should have done. They are first class and they are the best in the area. They will go out of their way to satisfy their customers. They are young group of businessmen and they were good.

Mid South was great - we had 4 companies come out and give us an estimate. They weren't the lowest price - but they definitely weren't the highest! The crew came out, exactly on time, were fast, efficient, and were very meticulous about cleaning up after themselves. While 2 guys were in the attic, the other 2 were out building the attic tent. I honestly can't think of any way the experience could have been any better. Within the first few hours we noticed a difference in our house. Highly recommended.

This is the 2nd time we used them, and they did an excellent job again. We will definitely use them again in the future should the need arise.

They were here on time, very helpful on how long it would take to do the job, cleaned up everything. The only thing is they forgot to replace the door to the crawl space, found it open two days later. Very pleased with their work.

I had a TVA energy audit conducted and was looking for a company to blow in insulation in my attic. They came out and gave me a great estimate for the work. About a week and a half afterwards they came out to do the work. Total it took about 3-4 hours for the attic access to be rebuilt and the insulation to be put in. The access opening is tiny, so I was really impressed by how quickly the work was done. I had a great experience with the company and will certainly be using them to replace some gutters when I get the chance.

They showed up on time. Completed the work as scheduled. Did a great job cleaning up when finished.

Rob Howell and his team did a wonderful job on our December installation. On time, a competitive quote and a professional installation.
We also contacted them in January to quote on another project. After my first call to their office, I had not received a follow up call to schedule a and quot;look seeand quot; at the job for about 3 days. So I sent an email through their website on a Saturday afternoon asking why the delay. That evening, I received a phone call from Rob Howell, the owner. He was extremely apologetic and explained that their office person had come down with the flu the day I called and with a lot of their staff becoming ill, my message had not made it to the sales manager.
I was impressed with the Rob's quick response to my email (on a Saturday evening no less) and his attention to Customer Service. That Monday morning, the Sales Manager had given us a call and came out that day to quote the job. Mid-South Insulation will be our first stop for any future insulation quotes in the future.

It started with me calling to get a quote. Richard, the company owner, came out and took some measurements and inspected the attic. Let me just say that when my home was built 15 years ago the builder (or his subcontractor) did an extremely poor job of insulating the attic. Richard was very thorough and pointed out all of the places that should have been insulated that werent. It's no wonder I could never keep the house heated in the winter, all the heat was going out through exposed drywall in the attic.
Here is where it gets interesting. Richard recommended that I contact TVA and go through their Energy Right program. There are rebates available for qualified work, and financing available to help with the cost. This program is well worth it. I really appreciated Richard telling me about it, because it has made this experience all that much better. I had TVA come out and inspect everything top to bottom and make several recommendations for services. Of course for the insulation I immediately contacted Mid South to do the work.
As I write this review, the Mid South crew has just left. The guys were professional, and did a superb job. I checked in on them as they worked, and could see the quality they put into all of the services performed. I can already feel a difference in the heat in the house. They even cleaned up after themselves and left things cleaner than they found them. I can not say enough nice things about Richard Howell and MidSouth Insulation. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to have any kind of insulation work done.

Les. the estimator, showed up EXACTLY on time. Such a nice surprise. Really knows what he's doing. Spent a few minutes in the attic, made some measurements with his fancy laser device, disappeared a few minutes in his truck and came back with a written proposal. I accepted on the spot. He made a call to the office and said the installation team would start work on a certain date around 9:00am as the first job of the day.
The two person installation team was about an hour late because of heavy traffic in Nashville. They parked their truck in front of the house, ran a 4and quot; hose up to the second floor attic and worked their magic. The truck got kind of loud as it blew in the insulation. They finished in about an hour, cleaned up after themselves and left no mess behind. Very professional. I peeked up in my attic and it looked like it snowed about a foot. White insulation.
I'm now sitting in a very comfortable home office as I'm typing this review.. Couldn't be more pleased.

Great experience. Les came out and did the quote - worked with us on a price/work strategy to meet our budget. Was quick to do the work once we made an appointment. The technicians were very courteous and cleaned-up after themselves with the little bit of mess they made blowing in the insulation and bringing in their equipment. The house feels much warmer do to the work this company did for us. I would use them again if we ever had to!

The crew of three arrived on time and started work. I expected it to take all day and in fact they were done in

4 1/2 hours. Upstairs was fantastic with good depth across all areas. They also threw in adding some baffles for several areas they said should have had them but didnt.
Underfloor is terrific with full depth insulation with paper liner both sides and proper wire retainers. I was alrady warned about some installers who just expect friction to have it stay between the joists or use a twine and nails system that is difficult to deal with if you need to remove some temporarily to access the floor subsytem.
extremely good at cleaning up and even cleared up stuff in the attic that was my mess.
I would heartily reccomend Mid South to anyone who needed insultation services. Great guys, great price, great job.

With weekend visitors arriving in just 5 days, I needed a quality job fast and that's what I got with Mid South Insulation. I called on Monday to schedule an estimate, Les came Tuesday morning to inspect/measure the attic and the 3 man crew arrived Thursday afternoon to do the work. The old insulation was uneven and well below the DOE recommended R-49. The crew placed cardboard measuring sticks throughout the attic to ensure even coverage at R-49 (19" total insulation). The total material used was 34 bags of Johns Manville Climate Pro blown-in fiberglass. The job cost (material + labor) was very competitive with a DIY project. Everyone involved was polite, efficient and clean.

They were good. I actually locked myself out of the door, the day they came. They waited outside for 30 minutes before I could let them in. They were extremely patient. It was 95 degrees when they came out that afternoon. They were professional, and they were on time.

Their price was great and they were very prompt. They did everything I asked them to do.

Overall very pleased with work. Would use again. Initially was delayed in responding to call for estimate, but pleased with everything.
