Upholstering
We took the chair to Mr. Blair's shop. He told us how much fabric to purchase and gave an estimate of what he would charge for the job, and how long it would take. The cost was exactly what he said it would be, and time required was less than estimated. Channel back chairs are difficult to work with, and he did a beautiful job. His shop is an old, nondescript building, but he does good work. Only down side -- he's sometimes hard to contact, so it's wise to get his shop hours.
