When he came in, he first did an excellent job framing the walls to hang the sheet rock.  Once he was finished with the sheet rock, he started to do the tile.  He never used spacers and it was not straight and it was uneven with wide spaces between the tile.  He put one layer of paint on the walls, which the primer was bleeding through the paint.  He told me that I was going to be responsible for re-painting the walls.  He promised he was going to build me a really pretty staircase.  He only laid down the steps.  I now have a big open area where the steps should be with no railings.  He did not go and buy trim like he was supposed to.  He only did a third of the work and he took off with the money I paid him.  He will not return my calls.
