Lumber Liquidators

I purchased it from them.  There was a contractor affiliated with them that installed it.  They were prompt and they came and did what they said they would do.  The big complaint is that we had them replace the treads on the stairway and one of the stringers had come loose over the years.  Rather than repairing it before they put the treads in, they just put the treads in and now they are in unequal heights.  It would be not in compliance with the building code and so we have to go in and have a major expense to redo the stairway.  It was functioning fine before they came in.  But now it is messed up.  Lumber Liquidators was fine but the contractor was not fine.  Most of the flooring was installed just fine.  One thing about the hardwood floors that was bothersome to me was that they were so delicate.  They were talking on and on about how tough their surface coatings were.  But as soon as we got there they said that they couldn’t put the couch on there as they didn’t want to scratch the floor.  So we started putting cups and things underneath.  But still the floor becomes scratched.  We will use them if we find a different contractor to have it installed.
