Professional, courteous, prompt and reasonably priced. Had complete central air unit and duct work replaced due to a skunk that crawled into the coil and died (which was not actually discovered until the replacement was performed. It was previously assumed that the skunk had simply sprayed and the smell lingered.) From the initial call until the invoice was received, these folks were nothing less than outstanding. Reliable heating and a/c workers are very hard to come by in my area, and after several failed attempts with other companies, Roscoe Brown came through in a big way. A large job, it was completed in 2.5 days and one month later we couldn't be more pleased.

I could tell the compressor on my A/C unit was going bad, but needed an expert opinion. Gave these guys a call after reading decent reviews on AngiesList. The serviceman who came out listened to the unit and said the bolts just needed adjusting and that should make the noise stop, my compressor shows and quot;good ampsand quot;. He adjusts and tells me it should last another 3-4 years. This unit was a 1999 model. The noise did quit while he was here and has the unit tore down. When I turned it on that night, the sound was back and the control knob was off center. Call them the next morning and had someone on their way immediately. A different serviceman comes out, turns the unit on and immediately said the compressor was going bad and that the other guy should have known this. My control knob was cracked, which it wasn't before. I asked for an estimate on repair and new unit. After waiting a couple of days, they call back with an estimate for repair only. After a few rounds of phone tag, I finally got an estimate on a replacement. I thought the price was high, and later found out, it was ridiculously high. It was a wall unit I had replaced, like what is in hotel rooms, to go in my bedroom which is an addition and not on my central unit. $2225, to be exact, I thought that'd at least included a new cage for the outside. I will never use them again unless this unit need repair and it's under warranty. They saw me comin n got me good!

We needed a water filtration system installed to get rid of the iron in our well water. The Roscoe Brown plumber who came to the house and took a water sample to do a water test seemed very knowledgeable, but he was really pushing one particular brand of water systems. He called back a day or two later and said that they would have to do another test (by an independent lab this time) because the first test was 'inconclusive'. This new test would cost nearly $500.00 so I said no to that and found another plumbing company, one that was recommended by Lowes. The plumbers who actually did the work we needed done (D and D Plumbing) were able to get the water tested again successfully at the local water treatment plant for around $40.00. They did excellent work installing the system and extensive research to find the correct system at the best price. We are very happy with the system installed by D and D Plumbing and also with the decision we made not to use Roscoe Brown. The Roscoe Brown plumber, on that initial visit, quoted a price range for a system that would have been 2 to 3 times what we later paid to get our iron filtration system installed.

The repair went well. They came out immediately when I called and provided me a written estimate to share with my insurance company. When the claim was approved, they ordered the parts and were out the day the parts arrived to install them. Their technician was prompt, courteous, and very professional.

They are real good. They were honest, prompt and reasonable.

The serviceman was excellent, and he took the time to explain things. He really appeared to know what he was doing; that was really good. He had found some problems with the original installer that he fixed, which was good. They were pretty responsive. They came out pretty quickly, and they came when they said they were going to come. I think that they exceeded my expectations. The price was reasonable. The part was fairly expensive, so I really don't know if I was getting ripped off on the part or not, but the whole thing seemed pretty reasonable for a few hours' work. They were very professional. I would use them again in the future.

Although it took three trips to complete the replacement process, we were only charged for a single trip and during the entire process we had heat available. Outstanding service.
