Mid-Tenn Fencing

This job was originally quoted and scheduled on 10/13/14.  The estimator told me it would be 3-4 weeks before they could do the job.  I was fine with that. I gave him my credit card information with the understanding they would charge for half the job immediately and the remainder when the job was completed.  They charged my card for $900 the next day.
I waited 4 weeks and had heard nothing so I called to check on the job.  I was told that I was on the schedule for the first of the following week.  The following week came and went.  I called and left a voicemail on Friday.  No one ever called me back.  I waited a few more days and I sent an email via their contact info on the website.  I explained that I needed the fence in before Thanksgiving or I wanted my deposit returned.  I received a reply late that afternoon informing me that they would install the fence on 11/26/14.  I called to try to find out what time they would be here that day but got voicemail again and no one ever called back.
On Wednesday 11/26/14 around noon I called to ask when the crew would arrive.  Voicemail again and no call back.  I sent an email explaining that I needed to run some errands and wanted to know what time the crew would be here.  I got no response. 
Finally around 2pm the crew showed up.  They were quick and very polite but the name on the truck was for another fence company.  That made me believe that Mid Tenn Fencing contracts out their jobs. 
I was supposed to get a 10ft gate but I ended up with an 8 ft gate.  I decided that it was going to do me no good to attempt to try to get the correct gate and I was just tired of dealing with it.  The gate they put in is a bit crooked but I can fix that myself.
Overall it was a frustrating and disappointing experience.  I wouldn't recommend this company, in fact I would warn people not to use this company.  To top it off, they haven't yet charged my card for the balance owed.  Does it mean that they are giving me the fence for $900 or have they just not gotten around to charging my card?  I guess time will tell.  I know calling will get me no where.  Stay away from this company.

Mid-Tenn Fencing was not very good. I had to pick up a lot of nails after they were done. They still need to come out to adjust a gate they put on wrong. I would suggest that if someone did use them that they would be demanding with them.

Mid-Tenn Fencing did not meet the deadline. It was supposed to take a week to install but it took two weeks. The fencing itself is excellent but a storm blew out some panels and Mid-Tenn refused to repair it. The owner was rude. We are very unhappy.

Mid-Ten Fencing went about their job very professionally. They did the job quickly, in about half a day. We had obtained quotes from two or three other companies and Mid-Ten had the best price, even agreeing to waive the rock-crushing machine fee.
