Animal Grooming, Animal & House Sitting
.ali and george have cared for our girls off and on for 3 years. my husband and i find them to be absolute delights - professional, caring and totally committed to the care and welfare of our girls. we have never had occasion to doubt them or their decisions nor have we ever been displeased with them. we trust them completely. we cannot imagine any other service caring for our dogs. we totally recommend the fur squad.

Animal Grooming, Animal & House Sitting
The Fur Squad came over the first time for a meeting to acquaint themselves with my pets and home location. The brother and sister team came and George played and marveled with the pets while Ali took a few notes about my needs and contact information. I had originally wanted them to start a month later and have the existing pet sitter help me the month of April, but I was so overwhelmed with their expert professional demeanor I wanted them to start as soon as possible. They are avid rescue people and that is very admirable.
Later, another vet tech started on the job who seemed to be the hands on person: her name is Renee. I wanted to meet her and had to arrange another meeting. After they started on the job, they did come running over without a charge to help me when the little dog developed a bleeding skin growth. They were wonderful about that, they came immediately to help. However, while I was out of town, she and George had difficulty administering medication in my blind little dog's dry eye. When I tried to reach Renee on numerous occasions while traveling domestically it would take a long time to receive a call back. When I tried to call from overseas, Renee never picked up the line even though by then, my little dog was having an urgent care problem. The two techs on the job (George, one of the owners ) and Renee took the little dog in every day to the vet hospital but I never got through on their line. However they were wonderful about taking the dog in to the hospital and picking her up on an outpatient basis. My last trip they left a note saying they would call when I came back. I could only reach one of the owners, Ali who asked me to only go through her for any communication.
They were very neat and clean and left the house spotless in the kitchen area, they spent much extra time with the emergencies as they came up. The hospital was having technical issues the day I asked them to take the little blind dog in and it took much time from their day which they did not charge me for. With my other dogs they were great, and I do recommend them if you have healthy dogs that do not require difficult med administration. George Gallup is perhaps the most kind hearted person you can ever meet and he will take care of your dogs well for you. However, not once did they inquire how the little dog was doing, and my last trip out of town when they did pet sitting for me, they called me 6 days after their last visit to check on my schedule. I think a pet sitter should call the home no longer than 24 hours after the job is done, to make sure the owner returned.

Animal Grooming, Animal & House Sitting
I needed to find a pet sitter to watch my 8 cats. They came and interviewed with me a month prior and again a week before I left. They came twice a day to feed and medicate my cats. They spent a lot of time with them and gave them a lot of attention. They even won over my skittish cats. When they came by to drop off my keys, ones that usually run didn't and stayed there to be petted. That proved to me that they got lots of attention.
