Andrew from Second Nature lawn care came out to do some touch up seeding this morning. He was wonderful. He has been here to do the fall seeding before and did a terrific job. He did the same for me today. He was thorough, informative and such a delight to have at my house. I could not have been more pleased. Second Nature is really fortunate to have him in their company!! I appreciate him so much and am grateful to Second Nature for for responding to my request so quickly !

I've been using Second Nature Lawncare for two years now and my grass looks fantastic! I don't have a green thumb, so they deserve all the credit. I highly recommend them, and they sometimes offer a discount if you find them through this site!

They come out every month.  They fertilize, spray and plant seeds.  Every quarter they spray our backyard for fleas and ticks.  They just do regular lawn keeping.  They also care for my shrubbery.

Weeds removal was incomplete. No evidence of fertilizing or of overseeding.

Ok. Not great, call backs were not followed up on. Several spots in lawn, not growing and not being addressed. I have to call to get attention. A report is left after each treatment. But it doesn't seem to specific with what needs to be done. Reports are just routine.

They come on time and get the job done quickly. They always call in advance to make sure that the scheduled time for their visit is still ok with me.

They showed up like they said. I think it was five times over the course of the year. My evaluation of the performance would be the same, everything was fine. I had no issues with them. I had no problems or complaints. I just didn't achieve the results that I wanted. The only reason that I would not use them again and would give them a "C" on the results, but as far as providing the service, they did an excellent job. They were always on time. They did what they said. Charged me what they said. There was no issues. They did a fine job. I would evaluate them the same each time. Like I said we just didn't get the results that I wanted, but as far as the delivery of the services, they did a fine job of it. I never saw them do it, so I have no idea how they actually accomplished things as far as the professionalism goes. They lack results, but other people get fine results. Other people in the neighborhood used them and their lawns were beautiful which is why I like them. So, I would recommend people to try them. They weren't able to give the results I was looking for, so I will not use them again, but I would encourage others to use them because I thought they did a fine job. I don't have any complaints about the company or service whatsoever, except we didn't achieve the results I was looking for.  Other yards in the neighborhood where they do treat, because I see their trucks in front of the houses, their lawns were great and that's what I was looking for, but we weren't able to get that done here. Like I said, I tried three companies to get those results in my yard and there is something different about being on a clay and the types of soil I have is just nobody has been able to accomplish it. So, I don't think it's a matter of how they performed their job or their capabilities or anything like that, I think it's just where my house was built or the makeup of the soil around it. So, I'd recommend other people to use them, because I've seen other results that looked great, and I had no complaints about the company or whatsoever.

They've all been good about being on time and doing the treatments within the two-to three-week window that they have scheduled at the beginning of the year for providing the service. I think they did a thorough job. They seemed to neat. They never called a problem. They always put the sign up, put the hand carries on the door so I know they've been here and I really haven't had any complaints about any of them except that they haven't been very effective in giving me the beautiful, green lawn that I have wanted. So, like I said I decided mostly the trees that I have and the type of dirt that I have is crop, thus preventing the beautiful, green less lawn that I was wanting, not the quality of the service or the timing or anything else. For all three companies, they did a fine job. I don't have any complaints about that. It just didn't accomplish my goal. They did everything they said they would, it's just didn't produce the results that I wanted. The only thing they could have done different I think was give me better result. As far as the company did what they said, they did excellent. It didn't work, but I don't think it's their fault because none of the tree have been successful at the same task and I'm sure they're all quite capable, except Second Nature did a fine job of showing up and treating and everything. It just didn't produce the results. I don't want them to get a bad mark because they did everything they said they would just like they said they would, wasn't a problem, didn't have any payment issues, didn't have any timing issues, didn't have to call them to remind them, they didn't run over any of the plants, they didn't scare the dogs.

My expectation was that the lawn would improve significantly. That was what I thought they were selling me was their program that would produce positive results in my yard and I didn't realize the results I was looking for.

They were on time when they were supposed to be here. I didn't have any other issues. I didn't call them and asked them to do anything and come out and spot treat or anything like that.

Ryan and his crew are honest, hardworking people who care about your satisfaction. He is extremely knowledgeable and is trustworthy even when I am out of town for extended periods. I highly recommend them!!!

Cancelled after 6 months. The reason that I got the service was to get rid of my crabgrass, broadleaf weeds. The crabgrass is as bad as it was last year. They offered to do spot treatments, if necessary. But on the first treatment, they totally missed about a 5th of the yard in back. Had to come back to treat again. After the third treatment, as the crabgrass was spreading like wildfire, I asked them to come back. That time, their employee only treated a small part of the problem areas. I finally spoke to one of the owners, and asked him to come check it out. I was looking to get his opinion of the job being done, and to see what he would do to fix it. However, that was the last I heard from him.
