DLJ & Son Seamless Guttering

Run do not walk away from these people!I hired this company to remove existing gutters and downspouts and to replace them with new ones and I also hired them to install gutter helmets that I purchased prior to their arrival.Upon returning home from work the day of the install, I found a terrible mess had been made to my house.While removing the original gutters, these people damaged my facia board metal covering the facia boards to the point that they are now so ugly that they must be replaced. They used a crowbar or something similar to remove the old gutters and bent the metal at each place they pried. They also completely destroyed the metal drip edge around the edge of my roof under the shinges to the point that it is so mangled up that I doubt it will ever work and it will most likely cause water to run under the eaves of the house and damage the wood under the siding.They installed the new gutters with no pitch at all and now water stands in the gutters when it rains.They only installed one downspout on a 50+ft run of gutter with no pitch in the gutter at all. Originally there were two downspouts on this gutter.When they tried to install the gutter helmets, they disregarded the directions that were pasted to each of 39 of them and improperly installed them with the back edge up under my shingles. The direction warn that they must be installed flat on top of the gutter but they installed them at the same pitch as the roof. The improper install of them had jacked my shingles up around the edge of the roof, breaking the bond of the shingles to the roof and have damaged my shingles to the point where they will need to be replaced.Upon confronting them with all of their issues, they promissed to come back the next day and fix their mistakes. I told them that I would show them how to install the gutter helmets correctly and installed a short section over my deck that I could reach with my ladder. Upon returning to fix their mistakes, they refused to install the gutter helmets like I showed them and walked off the job. They returned the extra money I paid them to install the gutter helmets but I am left to fix the issues myself. The damage to my house totals in the thousands.Do yourself a favor and run away from these people!
