"Customer hired Absolute Property Management to flip their dock that they had been working on and and we were to deck it with decking material that was already purchased by the customer, as well as attaching the walkway and decking it as well. When we arrived, the customer had already attached the floats, but after looking into the craftsmanship of the customer, we called her to discuss, and customer agreed that it was in fact, not viable. We tore all the blocks off of the bottom of the dock and built a frame that would hold for years to come. After we built the frame and reattached the floats that the customer had bought used from an individual, we flipped the dock and decked it with the decking material that was laying on her property, Despite being warped and twisted, we completed the dock, attached the walkway, and decked the walkway. We then pushed the dock in the water per the customer and sent her pictures since she did not come to site after working for about two weeks. After everything was completed was when she started telling us that the dock did not float as it should. We explained to her that we were hired for the construction on the dock and not the floatation of the dock and that we placed the floats exactly like they were when we found the dock. She was persistant on us making the dock float correctly, knowing that she did not have the correct float to allow that to happen. We believe in treating our customers like family and we gave her $1,000 back to her to pay towards her floats plus some only because she was simply not happy with something outside of our and her control. Our bucket Truck did break down and it sat for two days only because we did not want to tear her lawn up. She became very hostile and did not care that we looked out for her and gave her money back to hopefully help her out, after that I explained to her that she would need a new company to do the other tasks, thinking that she would agree, but she continued to want us to do the work, but I cannot continue work with a customer that will not be there and continue to find ways to save money from our work when the real issue was that she purchased used equipment that did not work the way they should have. I tried everything to make this customer happy, but can't win them all.... I have all the pictures and texts to back up. Sorry we could not make this customer happy."
