BUG MAN

We just purchased our home and 3 months after moving in we found we had "tenants". The man shows up, walks around the outside of the house, NEVER goes under the house, NEVER looks around inside the house and then tells us that we need new skirting around our entire house. He says it needs to be tightly sealed to keep mice out. Uh, we live on SAND! Then he says if I'd like him to he can come and put up a steal mesh under the house just behind the skirting. This mesh, has holes that are 1/2 by 1/2". I said "Won't the mice just go right through that?" He says, "No it's too small." Okay, I'm a farm girl and RATS can get through a hole that size!I was told they would go under the house and find holes that are letting the mice get from the ground to the inside. NEVER happened. I figure this guy lived in an apartment his entire life in the middle of the city? Field mice are TINY! They can get through tiny holes, that's why I called the "professionals" to find these holes and get them plugged. |Then I asked him what they would use to kill them if I did hire them and he said "sticky pads and snap traps". Needless to say we did not hire them. I went to a big box store and bought my own supplies instead. I knew MUCH more about mice than this man did! We were VERY disappointed.
