Brewer's Catastrophe Repair Service

Rickey Brewer w/BCRS told us/homeowner he did not need license/permits in Tupelo, MS for the type of work he was doing which in fact he did need a license in the state of MS. Rickey Brewer required homeowners to sign a contract with him and it Intitled him to receive the insurance money as it came in....signing a contract with Rickey Brewer/BCRS was a major mistake on our part. Rickey Brewer did most of the painting and every time he did the homeowner was left with his mess to clean up and some painting had to be redone. Chimney flashing was not done and bad wood around chimney was found by our last contractor. Rickey Brewer told us about this bad wood by the chimney and it was not replaced but covered up with new shingles. Our last contractor revealed the cover up and replaced the bad wood and made the proper repair. Wood damage under soffit was not repaired but puzzled back together and covered up...our last contractor revealed this cover up and made the proper repair. Rickey Brewer/BCRS took many short cuts that only benefited him monetarily....example homeowners insurance paid to have ceiling fixtures removed for painting and he did not remove it but half covered it up and overspray was left on ceiling fans and homeowner had to clean up. Homeowner's Garage ceiling was damaged and the ceiling & insulation removed. Rickey Brewer replaced the the ceiling but did not replace the insulation even though insurance paid for the replacement. Siding on utility shed had to be replaced including dents in roof and Rickey Brewer only replaced what was seen and did nothing to the roof. Crown molding was paid to be removed and replaced in garage but Rickey Brewer removed and reinstalled the old and it looked awful..it had to be redone by last contractor. Malmö the garage had to be repainted because when Rickey Brewer removed masking tape it ripped off sections he had painted. When homeowner voiced concerns Rickey Brewer became angry and put a Stop Work Order on the Homeowner. Homeowner had no other choice but to hire another contractor because homeowners were in the process of selling their home before the F3 tornado hit. Rickey Brewer put a LIEN on the homeowners property which caused issues with the sell of their home, but because Rickey Brewer did not get proper licensing and permits the lien was invalid and the contract was void. Rickey Brewer did not drop the lien until he was informed if the homeowners took him to court he would have to pay 3 times the amount of the lien. Rickey Brewer dropped the lien the Day of the home closing because he was informed if he did not the homeowners were going to file suit on Monday. Homeowners got to close that Friday as scheduled but not until Rickey Brewer was told the homeowners were filing suit for HIS INVALID LIEN on their property. Rickey Brewer sent us/homeowners slanderous, threatening emails and sent his last email threatening Us/homeowner/us 2 months after we were done with his invalid lien on our home. Homeowners took photos and videos of all poor and defective repairs by Rickey Brewer/ BCRS. Homeowners asked Rickey Brewer with BCRS to refund them the insurance money that he received but did not complete the work, but he never returned the money.
