I had a monster yard project that I asked Dawn to give me a quote on. The project involved moving a lot of dirt, hauling in loads of topsoil, leveling, planting, creating a new bed, laying stepping stones, cutting down a tree, reshaping three existing beds and about 18 tons of landscape rock. After reading Dawn's reviews and looking at her website, I asked her if she'd like to quote the job.
Dawn arrived to quote at the scheduled time, was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and professional. She provided the quote quickly. The quoted price wasn't the lowest quote I received and it wasn't the highest. I hired Dawn based on her solid quote and the fact she put me at ease - I felt she'd do a really good job.
Dawn and her crew arrived to do the job when we schedule it. Her crew was very professional and friendly. I have never seen a group of people do so much work so quickly and do it correctly. After spending the day with them, I'd trust any member of her team - just really good people. And, Dawn was on the job with her team every minute. I've hired some companies in the past where the boss shows up in the morning for a few minutes and is gone - Dawn was right there digging and planting for the duration.
The quality of the work was great. Everything was completed just as I had envisioned. And, Dawn and her team completed several tasks that I hadn't even asked for just to make the project look better. I really appreciated that added touch.
I have no reservations about recommending Dawn for any project. She's really committed to making the job look even better than expected, her crew is great, she's positive and easy to work with and her prices are very reasonable.

I have used Gardens By Dawn in the past when she installed our flower beds, so I called her to give me estimates for installing borders of varying design, which she did. I told her what I wanted to do and she was able to complete the job in a single afternoon, and did a thorough job of cleanup. Not only does she do excellent work and charge very reasonable fees, she is very friendly, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. She told me she also plans and creates vegetable gardens, and "dresses up" houses that are on the market. I highly recommend her.
