Swinea Painting did an excellent job. Ian explained to me the process he would do for my front door which I totally agreed with. Other items included two rocking chairs & a side table, railing on steps from inside garage to house, and unpainted trim of overhead garage door. All work was done with complete satisfaction including all clean-up. I will definitely be calling him again for any future painting projects.

Ian was professional. I can’t express how happy I was with the finished results. I had a massive balcony, staircase and deck which Ian stained. He said it would take two days, which he completed as scheduled. There was not one drop of stain on the concrete or on my brick house. I recommend him. I will be using him again in the fall to paint my 16 foot ceiling in my den.

Great quality and fast work made this project relatively painless. Our living and dining rooms, with 12 and 14 foot ceilings, made this a challenge. Changed the trim color as well.

Ian came in at half the cost of another quote I received on the same job. He was true to his quote, furnished all materials and paint (after I picked out the one I wanted) and left the place spotless upon completion. The job was incredibly fast and he took on areas that I did not even intend to paint trying to keep costs low. I have already referred him to family members and will continue to do so.

Very prompt, tidy and hardworking

He was awful nice and worked fast. He did a good job. The price was good too.

Ian could improve on his communication skills . When I ask him questions about the job , he was vague and did not answer my concerns . He was in a rush and did a job that I will have to correct . He missed painting some areas , got paint on my hardwood floors in the rooms with hardwood , and got paint on the carpet in the room that had carpeting. He painted over some dust on windowsills , and it was drippy and rough on some of the walls. When I said something about the walls , he told me it's not going to look like Pinterest, they do touch up photos anyway. I guess I expected more from a professional painter. I also feel that the walls could've used another coat of paint , but I will have to do that myself. It was as if he was trying to do a quick job and get out.

Hire this person immediately for any paint job. He was very professional and the paint job was above reproach. I've used 2 other painters and I will only use Ian Swinea for all my future painting. I will recommend him to all my friends and neighbors for their painting projects.

Ian Swinea was the most outstanding Paint Contractor I have used in my 40 years of renovation of homes and condos. He was on time. He completed in the time frame requested. The job was completed with no mistakes or paint drips on hardwood floors. He also removed window blinds and replaced them when he was finished the job. He is a gentleman and respectful of my wife, myself and the other workers that were present for other assignments. I will use him next year to clean and stain my two decks.
