Southern Green Landscaping

Company contracted by builder to perform grade work. Did initial grading 4 months after closing. Additional grade work needed. Been over a year and no response.

I called 3-4 times to arrange a meeting to get an estimate on landscaping and tree removal. After, the first call, I received a call back from Drew approximately 3 days later and I returned his call with no reply. I called a few more times throughout the week, but have yet to receive a call back(5/3/15). He sounded like a decent person on his first and only message, but this is not a good way to conduct business, so I will not be using him in the future! No action is action.

The team did an outstanding job.

Contacted Drew late in April to come out and give us a quote on some landscaping work. Scheduled a 9 a.m. meeting at the house, heard nothing from him until 3 p.m. that day to say that he was having truck problems and would have to reschedule. Rescheduled for a few days later at 8 a.m., showed up around 11 a.m. The meeting itself went well, pleasant demeanor, promised to have a quote and a project plan to us in a few days. Several days go by, no contact, finally got a basic quote back but no project plan as promised. Traded emails back and forth, was promised an updated quote and the project plan in a few days. Thirteen days go by, no contact. Finally get a response from him, he schedules a meeting on Memorial Day monday for 9 a.m., no call no show no response on Monday. Hear from him the following day via email, wants to reschedule for later in the week. I email back with a few questions, never heard from him again. Couldn't say what his quality of work is, but apparently has an extremely difficult time keeping a schedule and being responsive.

Pleasant on the phone. Scheduled a Saturday morning meeting at 8:30am. Waited and waited. Husband waited around to talk with Southern Green Landscaping. Called Drew Manning's cell phone to see what happened (running late maybe?). Never returned my phone call. Never got an explanation. Just ignored me. Don't have the heart to give an F grade, so I'm going with a D.

Drew and his crew were extremely professional and responsive from the bid process through construction. The pricing was competitive with the other 3 bids we received and we appreciated the transparency and completeness of the bid. The work itself was done in a timely and efficient manner. They took the time to properly prepare the site and went the extra mile to ensure that we were happy. Overall we couldn't be happier with our new lawn. The slope has been dramatically reduced and we can enjoy the privacy offered by the trees and planting beds. I would highly recommend Southern Green. They also offered hardscape services and retaining walls but they were not required for our site.
