Got the tires I wanted at as good a price as anywhere else. I had a broken TPMS on one tire and they replace it for $8. Even with that, I was still out of there in 30 minutes and the place was packed. Have been back several times for the free rotation and it has taken about 15 minutes each time.

I was given an estimate from Discount Tire for four new tires with installation, balance etc. of $486. I made an appointment and when I got there, I was told the tires on my car, which had green stems, had "TPMS defeat stems" and that I had to buy TPMS rebuild kits for each tire at a cost of $8 per tire. This was not true. The tires were nitrogen filled and did not need TPMS rebuild kits. I was also told repeatedly that I needed to buy the "certificate for repair, rebuild and replacement" for an extra $12 per tire. The salesman was so insistent I finally gave in. I regret it now, since the tires come with standard replacement and warranty anyway. The extended $12 warranty only covers catastrophic tire destruction, which I have never experienced in 34 years of driving. Overall, the price of tires at Discount Tire is good. The service is fast. People are friendly. But who wants to be lied to so they have to purchase extra features they do not need? My advice is to beware of Discount Tire and search for new tires elsewhere.
