Seemed as if it went well. But apparently he used very cheap materials, which failed fairly quickly. Called to ask him to come back...said he would, but never heard from him again.

At first, we were not sure whether something was wrong with our pump or with the electrical circuit. After the plumber checked the pump and said it was still working, we changed the breaker and that did not work. I called Sam on a Friday at 5 p.m. and he seemed apologetic that he could not come out immediately, which I did not expect. However, he was perfectly willing to come out on Saturday without my even asking him. He checked a few things and figured out that there was an electrical problem in our bomb shelter (rather than with the circuit going to the pump), which we had not gone down into for years. He took us through every step of the process and seemed determined to figure out the problem and fix it. He is a very friendly and honest fellow who used to work at EPB, and I feel very confident about hiring him again to do electrical work. His fees are also incredibly reasonable.

Sam worked when he said he would. He came out to our house and walked through with my husband and gave him a price. He then started the work and worked diligently until the work was done. If there was a problem that he ran into with this very dated system that we had, he would first tell us about it and discuss a price for it before he worked on it. He replaced all of the outlets and wiring throughout the house in timely manner with great professional knowledge. Have retired from EPB, Sam knew exactly what he was doing and got it finished to our satisfaction.
