Built Right Construction

This was our first time attempting a major home construction project. This project was also the reason I became an Angie's List member to begin with. Mr. Crawford responded promptly to give us an estimate for the work we wanted done. We felt comfortable with Mark right away. As the job progressed we began to regard Mark as not just a good contractor but a good person as well. He was honest with us about the work that needed to be done and suggested a few additional items we didn't think about; to add to the overall contemporary look we wanted. Even our dogs liked him! They greeted him every morning like he was family. He suggested a slight floor plan change to open up the kitchen and relocate the dishwasher. It was a great idea but left us with gaps in the floor tile. We like our floor tile but it is no longer available. Together with a few tiles I had saved and one he removed from our floor, he created an area in the center of the kitchen to install a tile mosaic. He created a great mosaic with the materials we purchased. We also wanted to remove the tray ceiling in the dining area because it seemed to make the area off center with the dining table placed in the bay window area where we preferred. After discussing it with Mark we decided it was the chandelier that was making the area off balance. By installing matching LED disk lights in the kitchen and dining area, it pulled the two areas together and made the whole design more contemporary. This saved us time and money over the additional drywall work required to change the ceiling. We were a little nervous at the beginning of this project but he was reassuring and confident all the way through. We plan on having him back this fall to install hardwood flooring and trim in our living room. Check out the dramatic difference between the before and after pics. Thanks Mark!

The project was finished on time and the quality is excellent. Mark consulted with us throughout the project and was very responsive to our requests. The most important thing to us was quality and we are very happy with our house.The price was very good for the quality of work and we would definitely use this company again.

I was very impressed by the work that was done by Built Right Construction.  I could not be more pleased with the end result.  My fireplace looks amazing!  Mark Crawford is very honest and committed to delivering exactly what you want.  We went over the work together and the job was completed quickly and efficiently.  I was also very happy with the level of care Mark showed in caring for my home and cleaning up after he was finished.  Now when there is a project I need done around the house, I will most definitely be calling Mark again!!  THANK YOU SO MUCH - BEAUTIFUL!
