About us

Green Rock Tree Service is fully licensed and insured and specializes in both tree care and removal. We take care of most jobs in house, but may also sub-contract other companies for trucking and haul off of very large trees or other debris. Our customers find our prices to be $200 to $1200 less than bids offered by “Big Tree Companies” competing for the same job. This is due to our sub-contracted structure that insures that our biding is based on the needs of the job and not just the cost of running a large company for the day. In the event of a storm, we can help you better understand what will and will not be covered by most home owners insurance and insure that when we are finished you have all the necessary paper work to hand over to your insurance provider. entire Chattanooga area, Hamilton and surrounding counties

My husband contacted this company they came out and marked the trees, and gave us advice on the health of the trees. He gave us an estimate. Dale came out with his crew and in two days he completed the job. He let us know that we had a gas line that may interfer with the grinding. We contacted the gas company and after they marked the gas line Dale grind the stumps inaccordence with respect to the gas line. After they finished they laid down grass seed and straw and cleaned up after themselves.

Very polite and punctual crew. Did exactly what I requested and no more. Amount charged was the price quoted. Price was hundreds of dollars less than any the other 6 companies I had estimates from. I will highly recommend them to all of my friends and look forward to doing business with them again.

They arrived on time and worked quickly.  They had a truck to mulch the limbs and a dump truck to hall away the large trunk pieces as they cut.  There were four men on the crew and they worked together to cut down and remove this clump of three dead trees in the yard.  They planned each cut carefully so not to have falling limbs damage the surrounding area.  They cleaned up afterwards.  They did not block any of my neighbor's driveways and did not keep the mail truck from accessing the surrounding homes in our cul-de-sac.  I have never had to hire a tree service before, they had the best of three estimates, and I would definitely recommend them.

He did an excellent job. He called me back within minutes and showed up on time. He and two of his workers worked until they got the job done and did not take breaks. They hauled it all away and cleaned up well after the job was done. He charged me half the charge I have paid in the past with other tree companies. I would highly recommend them and would use them again.
