A very polite person that did his work on schedule and cleaned up when finished. Job took three visits. Walls were great.

This was a tricky job because the door was taller than the existing door. Also, because it is a very old house nothing is square, Jim was calm, professional and meticulous. He did a great job for me and I will be using his services again.

Mr. Mongold was prompt, efficient, courteous. He removed the existing fan, installed the new one, cleaned up when he was finished.I have already given his name to two people, one of whom has scheduled a job for next week, and he is returning to my house to go down my list of small chores after he finishes at her house. I was more than pleased and nicely impressed.

Jim's fantastic and he's on my frequent flyer list now. He's on my caller list when I have issues. He's coming back again probably in the next week or two. He's very reasonable. First of he's very polite and very thorough. He did a fantastic job. He's very trustworthy because I had to leave my house for a little while and came back. I didn't have a choice because I had to leave. He's very trustworthy and just a really nice guy. I just recommended him and in fact I've already given his card out to like three different people. I haven't had any problems. When he widened my door width of course he's had to come back three times because he had to do drywall and it had to dry. He always works it out; he sends me emails and double checks with me the day before its set up. He's always on time. I've just not had any issues with him, he's just been fantastic. I've already got him set up to do more work for me.

Jim was prompt, courteous, professional, did what he contracted to do. He provided a written estimate, and a detailed bill. He was careful with his painting, no mess at all. I had hoped he could instal a ceiling fan, but after examining the situation, he suggested an electrician, because of the complicated nature of the project.

Jim was a pleasure to deal with. He answered my calls very promptly and showed up exactly when he said he would. He got the job done and we are very pleased. We will recommend him to friends and family. It was an all around good experience handled in a timely manner.

Remodeling was done in summer of 2011 and everything finished up in spring of 2013. Between those dates I completely repainted house inside and painted kitchen cabinets (hardest jobs I ever did!). I had to take off in the spring of 2012 due to sciatica problems.
I found Jim Mongold on Angie's List during June of 2011. He had excellent reviews although he didn't have as many reviews as some others. I figured I would help him out by using him and giving him another good review. Jim Mongold always came at 9:00 and generally left at 4:00, almost always working unsupervised. He made numerous recommendations to save me time and money. Jim was never tardy, always showed up on the day scheduled, and was a delight to work with. Jim is quiet and has a gentle sense of humor, and he knows what he's doing. I strongly recommend him and intend to use him again when I get ready to remodel my current house.

Jim Mongold is my go to guy. He has done other work here at the house. It is very good work. Very skilled handyman. Very nice and easy to get along with.

We had several things to get finished in this bathroom in the week of July 16th. Overall we were satisfied with the work performed and Jim was very punctual and resonably priced.

Jim was on-time, courteous, and knowledgeable. This is the third time we've had him to do work at our house. We trust him, and he has done a good job. The dog door looks perfect inside and outside through an exterior wall with no leaks. He was careful enough to give us good maintenance instructions on the front porch railing, and he is very respectful of my property. Also, he will tell you if it is a job he cannot perform, so no worries about getting the job half done. I recommend him.

The "pass through" looked excellent. You would never know that it had not been there when we originally bought the house. It really opened up the room and made the look more "up to date". I would highly recommend Jim if you want very good work at a very fair price.

Immediately answered first contact on cell and said he could come after he finished a job he was working on. Showed up within an hour and performed the repair.

I've used him more than once. He is really exceptional. The time before when I used him, he did more work and it was about $200. I like him because he is professional and he is here when I schedule him to be. He does his best to get to me quickly. His prices are awesome. I think he charges $35 an hour. The quality of his work is excellent. I will use him again.

He did an excellent job and and finished the job on schedule for the negotiated price. I found a few very minor cosmetic details that were not perfect, but not enough to bother him. I highly recommend Jim for flooring and tile work.
