Impressive Remodeling

Contractor and adjustor met at the house, and documented detailed plans for repairs. We then met with Mr Rudder and discussed specifiically what would be done and how. The job was performed while we were out of state, but Mr Rudder kept in contact by phone and e-mail.  He let us know the job was complete, and we paid in full. When we were next able to visit our home, we were stunned to see that the job was obviously not up to code, and was not performed as agreed. The tree has not been cut up or removed. The construction debris is still in piles on our prorperty. The support beams are not set in concrete. Then deck is not square. Materials from the old deck have been re-used. The railings are not high enough to meet code. The belt board around the house is not enclosed. The roof and trim were not repaired. The overall workmanship is poor. Mr Rudder will now not return our phone calls. We have sent a certified letter to him asking to resolve the matter, with no response.
