My home warranty company chose Volunteer HVAC to address my heat pump issues. The lady who schedules called me at 8 pm on Christmas Eve to schedule and when I called her back she didn’t answer. The tech that came out the morning i was scheduled was drunk out of his mind and I had to lock him out of my house and tell him to leave. I called the company and Scott, who is apparently the owner, kept saying he was going to come out that day to address my issues since i had to deal with that. He finally showed up after 6pm in the dark, presented as friendly, polite, knowledgeable and informative, or so I thought. He told me he added Freon and had to come back in the daylight to fix a leak. I was told Taminy would call me in the next few days to schedule and i never heard from her after her and I exchanhed many phone calls the day the drunk tech showed up. I tried calling and leaving a voicemail and i get no return calls. Now I’m thinking there must be some truth behind all of these negative reviews! I reported Volunteer to my home warranty company which told me the work order was completed and they had supposedly already fixed what they told me they had to come back and fix in the light of day. They immediately assigned a new company who came out an HOUR after being assigned and they told me i have ZERO Freon when Volunteer supposedly topped it off. Words can’t express how angry i am this company took advantage of a mom with three small children in the home and let me believe my heat pump was fixed all the while setting it to auxiliary heat which i now know sky rockets your electric bill. Either they are complete idiots or they are complete frauds. My home warranty company has dropped them and said they will NEVER use them again and i suggest people with similar experiences report them too. Funny how when you tell other people about this company, magically no one has heard of them. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!
