K&R Home Service was one of three bids we took for rebuilding our deck and adding a pergula. The bid was $2000.00 less than the closest other bid and the workmanship was excellent. They tore down the existing deck carefully, preserving the existing joist hangers, hauled the trash away and rebuilt a beautiful, study deck and pergula to our specifications. Ron Johnsen, the owner of the company, was onsite daily and made helpful, economic and tasteful suggestions in the design of our structure. The bid was very much better than any other we receivied and was on time not only with the bid, but also the construction of the structure. He and his crew were friendly and well-mannered, as well as clean and on-time. Since this initial work, he has also replace an outside door that needed some frame reconstruction and repaired our fence from storm damage. I plan to use him again for painting and cabinet work in September.
