He was prompl in coming to pick up the table and leaf to the table, he told me it would take 2 weeks and it did he called me on Friday and said it was finished, and I told him I  wouldn't be able to have him come with it until Monday morning, he told me it was alright it need time to dry. He finished the top of the table and cleaned up the legs which made it look brand new. I will call him the next time I need anything refurnished it was an excellent job, I highly recommend him if you need anything refurnished.

Steve is amazing. He is extremely professional and a real artisan and craftsman. The front doors look brand new and really make the house look great. He is a meticulous worker and very honest. He takes real pride in his work. The cabinet top had major water damage. He made it look like new. The first stain he put on it turned out not to be a good match. He removed that and redid the work until he had a perfect match for the rest of the cabinet. We thought his price very fair considering the amount and intricacy of the work involved and the quality of the results he provided. He finished both projects in little over three days. We recommend him highly and would use him again any time we have a wood refinishing project.

Stephen is an artist in his profession. Our kitchen table has a unique colored finish where nothing conventional was going to blend to try and fix the table. After being told by Furniture Restorations in our area that they couldn't do an in home fix, that resurfaving the whole 54and quot; square table was our only option... I tried Wood and Hand Artisans. I sent pictures of the damage online and Stephen was at our home on a Saturday with his coloring toolkit to do the job on site. He used at least a mix of 6 different pigments and hand painted them in layers until he had the exact match to the table completed. Sprayed the finish to match the sheen of the table perfectly. You cannot tell the table had been damaged. We are 100 percent pleased. Took less than 40 minutes to complete.

We were impressed with Stephen's professionalism and integrity. He explained the process of the work that he would be doing, and offered different solutions for finishing our serving trays so that they might be used for the precise purpose we had in mind. We were quite pleased with the efficiency and precision with which Stephen completed the jobs. Overall, we were most impressed by Mr. Hobbs work and would recommend/rehire him in a heartbeat.
