I would use Thompson Services Inc again in the future.

The work was a reasonable price, and the technician sent to my house was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

They have been mostly nice (both in and out of office), but really bad at communicating, getting back to you, and following through. My guess is that they are poorly organized in the office that they never processed it correctly, so months later they went and found and unpaid invoice. It would have been reasonable for them to accept my offer to pay partial, but they have been stubborn. The other red flag is that the first two times I had them come out, the guys who worked there left the company. To me this suggests high turn over, which suggests problems. I'm going to pay so they stop bugging me, but I would never do business with them again. It's just shady either way?either they are going back on an agreement or they are so disorganized that they don't have records of what happened. I'll chop it up to my fault for not getting a receipt explicitly indicating it was free at the time. But I would stay away from these guys.

Technician can out to inspect our Goodman heap pump that's under warranty. They claimed that compressor was bad and needed replaced. They claimed they talked to Goodman and Goodman agreed to replace the compressor under warranty but Thompson Service wanted an additional 650.00 over the cost of the repair out of my pocket so they could put fresh coolant in unit. I  asked Thompson to just reclaim the old coolant and they refused and told me that if we didn't buy the coolant they wouldn't do the work. So we decided to call Rosco Brown (another Goodman Dealer). They came right out, found the only thing wrong was a bad 30.00 capacitor and fixed the problem under the Goodman warranty. along with the bad service and trying to screw me and Goodman out of extra money they were rude on the phone. Would never recommend these guys to anyone.

Everything went fine. The entire crew was professional and efficient. Their positive attitudes and humor while working together provided much needed relief as I dealt with the unknowns of remodeling a kitchen.

They were great. They did the job and they were professional. Their pricing is comparable with everyone else.

Tech tested equipment and collaborated with office on repair. They were quick to respond, courteous and well priced. I have used them for plumbing, septic and many other problems in the past and they have always done a great job.

We had a Kenmore side-by-side refrigerator that had stopped working after a brief power outage in our home. We had already bought a new fridge to replace this one so it was located out in the garage. Mr. Thompson and his helper showed up exactly when they said they would and determined the problem within 10 minutes of their arrival. They had the part in stock in their van and had it repaired and up and running in less than an hour. This even though they were working in a cramped corner of an unheated garage in the dead of winter.They were very courteous and straightforward, but I did think the end price was a bit high. To be fair, I did not ask about his labor rates or trip charges in advance, so I was fine with paying them what they asked. I will just be sure to ask about labor rates and trip charges when booking the appointment so I won't be surprised next time.All things considered, I would definitely use them again.

There was an ongoing problem with my water heater that nobody else was able to figure out & this company was able to. I thought they were pretty good; they were right on time & knowledgeable. I'm happy with their services.

The serviceman was here over an hour cleaning and checking the unit and reporting his findings to us. He also remembered that we had asked about fireplaces, etc. and followed up on researching our needs and getting us prices. He honestly told us who we could deal with directly to save money. I respect this company and the employees for their honesty, courtesy, service and professionalism. I recommend them to my friends as well

They are wonderful! They come when you call and always get the job done right! They will talk us through minor things, which is good, too!

I had called another company and they came out and said my power was out on the AC that I would need to call an Electrical Company and left, after charging me a service to come and tell me what was wrong, but could not fix it. I called Thompson Services because they were recommended by a Company on your list. They came to the house exactly on time. Checked my A/C unit (no power), came in house and checked the breaker panel. It was okay. Checked the outside breaker panel for the A/C Unit. It was the problem. The inside of the panel box was a mess. It was rusted out, the breakers were rusted where it had leaked rain from another company not closing it properly. The A/C unit employees called for one of their electricians to come and check out the panel box because it had to be done by an electrician. He came and checked it out and told me that I may have to have a whole new breaker panel box installed, which would become very expensive due to the new codes which require hot-wiring in smoke detectors. He called their "master electrician" and asked him to come and check and see if there was anyway to fix this problem without doing the new breaker panel box, etc., but still fixing it properly and not using a bandaid fix. He came right away. He checked everything out and they were able to only have to replace the breakers and clean the box out and when they closed it, they sealed it so rain would not get in it anymore and rust it out. These men were not only professional, but kind and caring to do the best job for the best price to fit my situation. I did not notice 'til the next day that they had taken my hose from my front water faucet (where it had been disconnected for the winter) and hooked it back up to the faucet. They also reeled my hose back on to the reeler. All this was done and they told me they did it. How nice. This company and their employees were not only professional and HONEST, but kind and caring.
