When Volunteer came out I was really concerned about the seams. I knew that the carpet came in 12 and 15 foot lots. The owner told me could seam along the far windows and doors. I was happy with that. I was not in town when the carpet was installed and sent the balance immediately. My mistake. I should have checked it out first. My bedroom was laid perfectly. However, downstairs, their is a seam that runs right down the middle and in one of the bedrooms, their was another BAD obvious seam. He tried to tell me that is not what he said but he said exactly that. It is a shame I will never ever recommend Volunteer.

The worst you can imagine. The installers were hardwood floor experts and admitted they did not know much about tile. The tile is uneven and the grout turned out 3 colors and very uneven lines. Then they took the grout up but did not protect my house in any way. There was horrible grout dust in every room from ceiling to floor but they never offered to clean up. Then when they regrouted, it was the same thing. I have 3 different colors of grout and the lines are uneven and my tile is uneven. I paid for imported Italian porcelain tile and to be honest, a sheet vinyl floor would look better.

Carpet installed on stairs is loose with material falling down at seams. There is a pronounced seam visible on the floor. Several tiles are loose and one chipped. The owner replaced on tile and agreed to replace two more but later declined. Used a local businessman rather than Lowes, which had a lower price, as I expected quality service. I made a mistake.

The initial installation went very well. It only took a day and a half, and the price was reasonable.  I called them one and a half month later that a portion of the floor under my couch was bubbling. After numerous calls, one month later, the actual installer came and looked at it, and told me there had to be water that sat on that spot. Which is ridiculous since it was, again, under the couch.
The owner called shortly after the installer left, and without him actually seeing the floor, he was rude and defensive, and informed me he was very much familiar with small claims court. My guess is that they will not stand behind their work, and therefore, go to small claims frequently.
I would not recommend this business for any type of flooring.
