The lead guy was Mike Mathis. He knows his stuff. It was a 24' x 36' ft full two story garage attached with an enclosed 8' x 24' breezeway. The garage has nice plywood finished walls and ceilings, fully insulated, and with lots of electrical outlets. For my purposes, I needed the top floor to be able to hold a lot of weight, so the garage was built much stronger than what is required for codes. It is partially embedded in a hill, so great care was taken to seal the cinder block foundation and provide water drainage. I did need to correct some small details along the way such as the garage doors were supposed to have windows and they initially didn't and I had to remind him that I wanted plywood on the walls and ceilings. Also, one of the garage door openers stopped working a couple weeks after the garage was finished and it took 3 phone calls and two months to get somebody to come out and fix it. Other than that, I am very happy with the job.

The work began a few days after signing the contract.  The foundational blocks, 4x4 skids, and flooring was done by two men while the remainder of construction was done by one individual.  This expanded the estimated construction time, however he did an excellent job and the building trim was very professional.  I am very pleased with the finished product!

The reason I rated them "good" on price was that the basic building price was excellent but I felt some of the "add-ons" were priced a little too high. 

I needed to replace the front deck to my new residence and had called 3 contractors for bids.Of the 3, Mike was the most professional and knowledgeable .
He was on time for our appt. and was able to provide me with answers to all my questions, as well as make recommendations about my project.  I opted to go with him 
due to the fact he grasped what I wanted and he explained the quality of materials and labor he would provide.  He was more than good to his word.  He was actually able to start and complete the project ahead of the agreed time frame.  I love my new deck! The supports are 6 by 6 the decking is 2 bys and everything is screwed into place. His crew did a great job, kept the area neat as pin.  I will certainly be contacting Mike when I start my bigger projects.
