They are top of the line.  The Vet, Dr. Carr is extremely kind and compassionate.  She is great with my dog and she is very thorough.  I am extremely pleased with her service.  My dog likes her.

We have been taking our pets to them for 20 years.  We absolutely LOVE Dr. Petersen!!   She is SO skilled, knowledgeable, compassionate, and dedicated.  She gets in the floor with our dogs and makes them feel safe.  We absolutely trust our "children" to the staff at Powell Animal Hospital.  We've had five dogs over the past 20 years and have some serious health issues with some.  The staff here has always been available and SO compassionate.  
they're not the cheapest in town, but I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else.

Very well. I was called back on time. The receptionist that brought me back was very friendly, and one of the kennel staff who doesn't even know my dog was playing and talking with him in the lobby (obviously loves animals). The lobby was clean and the place always smells good. The veterinary technician, Denise came in to take his history and vitals. She is very personable and competent, and my dog absolutely loves her. I saw Dr. Peterson this visit. She did a very thorough well check and spent quite a long time assessing my dog's cough and going over potential plans for addressing it, both aggressive and not aggressive. She asked me how I felt about these plans, and we participated in the decisions for him together. She is very loving with the animals in addition to being a very detail oriented doctor. Someone from the clinic called the next day (on Saturday, one of their busiest days) to ask how my dog was doing. I am always advised of any potential costs ahead of time, and if something changes I have always been advised. I have been bringing my dogs to this clinic since 2002. They are a little more expensive than some vets, but I think the level of service and the flexible hours more than make up for that, for me anyway.

The whole situation was a bust. The only saving grace to this situation was that my pet looked good and smelled good. The trump up service charge was a downer and a flagrant attempt at ballooning the bill. I don't know if ity is a slow time of year for them so that they find it necessary to boost the charges by adding unrequested services to customers bills, but by their refusal to adjust the bill, I detect an air of desperation.

We had our recent appointment with Dr Peterson, who is amazing. She is very kind and gentle and takes special care when interacting with the animals. She was also very attentive to our toddler during the visit. She engaged him so he wasn't scared for our cat during the exam. She also calmed our 10 year old cat, who was not too keen on getting his temperature taken, by doing a slow and gentle exam. She is a lovely veterinarian. I will continue to go to Powell Animal Hospital--despite its distance from my home and it's potentially high prices (per other customers I've met)--because of the quality of this one doctor.

PAH is a great place for Vet care. I highly recommend them, you get great service, their hours are very convenient and the pricing is comparable to other Vets in the area.
